* For reference, the first of EliteXC Saturday Night Fights (May 31, 2008) did a 1.8 among adults 18-49. The July 26, 2008 edition did a 1.0 among adults 18-49. So Kimbo Slice is (or at least was) worth a .8 rating in the demo. * On Thursday, all the shows that didn't premiere last week premiere. That is, Kath & Kim, Eleventh Hour, Life On Mars, CSI, and the first of the SNL: Thursday Night Live specials. * This week's One Tree Hill has been prempted by a rerun of Privileged. The Gossip Girl that airs before it is also a rerun. Probably seeing how compatible the two show's audiences are. * House on Tuesday is also a rerun. * New episodes of Life air on both Monday and Friday. * The second Presdential Debate is on Tuesday, prempting Opportunity Knocks, The Mentalist, Without A Trace, Fringe, and Law & Order: SVU. This debate is from Belmont University in Nashville, TN, and is to be hosted by NBC News' Tom Brokaw. * On Wednesday, a special episode of The Biggest Loser airs on NBC. * FOX's Thursday night lineup, meanwhile, is prempted by Game 1 of the National League Championship Series. And then on Sunday, the lineup is prempted by Game 3. * America's Toughest Jobs airs in it's normal timeslot on Friday, but next week it starts in its new new timeslot, Saturday at 9:00 pm. Saturday is a wasteland, where they put shows that aren't doing well that they don't want to cancel. * It's a day of specials on Saturday. ABC airs the NASCAR Bank of America 500 from Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. CBS has a rare College Football game, LSU @ Florida. NBC airs the Macy's Passport Celebrity Catwalk Challenge. * And the Sunday Night Football game is New England vs San Diego.
Press release from MyNetwork sez Smackdown scored a 1.9 Friday night - which is both awful and (according to the press release) the highest rating MNTV has ever recorded.
What'd the IFL do? Flatline? I didn't note it back then so I guess they MIGHT be truthin' here.
EDIT: The IFL debut got a 0.8 (broadcastingcable.com).
As I mentioned in "The Day of the Doctor" thread last month, that was the first-ever episode of DW I ever watched. Since then, I have completely geeked out over this show, and I've watched the entire Series 1 (with Eccleston)
