Caught the Syd Barrett documentarie(s) on VH-1 Classic recently which made me reconsider my aversion to the early Floyd catalogue as well as sent me to Wikipedia to read up some more on the history of the band.
I was surprised to see that Richard Wright was apparently on the outs with Roger Waters at one point so much that he was pretty much out of the band and was just a "hired hand" during the recording and touring for The Wall which meant he was one of the few people who made money on the 4 or 5 concerts they did to support the album as the set was so expensive and paid for by the band, of whih Wright wasn't really a member of at the time.
R.I.P. and Shine on . . .

I am not frightened of dying. Any time will do. I don't mind. Why should I be frightened of dying? I see no reason for it. We've all got to go sometime.
