Well, pre-injury he was arguably the best QB in the NFL. Three rings, a couple of supermodels, first 16-0 regular season in NFL history, and how many times have you heard people call Brady "this generation's Joe Montana?"

Maybe.

See ya in '09, Tom. Now go Cassel!

I hear you. On the bright side, I think our D could be lights out this year, at least as long as Lito and Drew frigging Rosenhaus can keep their yaps shut. The LBs look better than merely "OK" for the first time in ages, we've got 3 pro bowl caliber CBs and decent depth on the line. Heck, even Darren Howard looks like a football player.

But on the downside you just know the first time Sheldon Brown slips Rosenhaus'll be straight on YouTube screaming about it. And in a thread about a QB with a season-ending injury, well, Donovan kinda has form in that area.

I must've changed my mind about 20 times on how this season goes. I guess we'll know more after Monday.
