I think the Scramble sounds like a fun idea. It'll be kind of like king of the mountain; everyone trying to knock off the last guy who had a fall. It also sounds like it will be a home run derby of everyone hitting their finishers. I would think none of the falls will count for the World Title except the final one, so I'm even thinking Punk might just sneak in there in the final five seconds and retain. Regardless, I like the idea. After Hell in a Cell, they shouldn't have gone into an Elimination Chamber right away. The Scramble has novelty on its side. Beats another stupid Triple Threat or Fatal Four Way as the RAW main event of a PPV. (Or pay-for-view, an Adamle Original.)
What I don't like is how Adamle said the Scramble was an idea given to him by Shane and Stephanie McMahon, with their graphic leading up to it. Why isn't this billed as an Adamle Original?
The scramble idea doesn't bother me; it reminds me of the hardcore title time-limit match. But they'll have to adjust the rules. Say you win the belt with two minutes to go. You'd slide out of the ring and run up the ramp. You can't lose the belt on countout or DQ. So far, anyway.
I don't espouse taking the belt off Punk. He's doing fine as champ. But Cena has to either win this match or veer heel.

Man, I don't think anyone wants to see this match devolve into one of those silly hardcore matches where one of the guys would slide out of the ring and the match would get taken backstage. Don't think it'll happen, but this possibility just shows that not too much thought has been put into this match.
I think Cena gets taken out of this match when he and one of the heels fights to the back. But there's no way he gets jobbed again. He's perma-over, but even then, he can only take so many losses before he reaches Lex Luger territory.
The Championship Scramble seems pretty stupid to me. Everyone is going to be trying to prevent everyone else from getting a fall, which means the match isn't really going to be any different from a five-man version of a triple threat, except maybe it's going to increase everyone's title count for no good reason. Really, since only the last pinfall is going to determine the outcome, why not just have the match go to a single fall?

That's a good point; unless the person who makes each pinfall/submission physically "becomes" world champion, then the whole idea is pretty much useless (so it really is WWE's version of "Capture the Flag") ...

They said that the person who makes a pinfall/submission will be the champion "at that moment". JBL can - in theory - pin Kane 3 times and be a 3 time World Champion during the match (assuming that someone else is pinned alternately).
"Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go backstage. I'm proud of myself, I just beat Brad Armstrong!" - Arn Anderson on WCW Saturday Night in 1992, in the classiest display I've ever seen of someone putting over an underrated mid-carder that everyone in the locker room knew deserved better than the push he got.
Anyone can beat anyone. The last person to score a fall before the time limit runs out leaves as champion. Not that difficult a concept.
It's not like the Wrestlemania Hardcore Title battle royal because you don't have to beat the champion to win the championship. And they've said that they're only going to recognize as champion the person who leaves with the belt. Also, it's not falls-count-anywhere and Pete "Gas" isn't in the match.
They might have 20 pinfalls during the match. Or they might not have any. Maybe we should wait until they do something stupid before we complain about the stupid thing they may or may not do?
Come on now. You don't seriously think that every pinfall is going to be a title reign in the record books do you? That would mean five guys gaining on Triple H in one night!
With the Rey situation I think Batista and Kane are the two biggest candidates for the fighting-to-the-back portion of the show. That leaves JBL, Punk and Cena. I would think Cena would come out of those three the champ but I guess we'll see how much they believe in Punk.
It's kind of weird that not only has Cena lost so much this year but they also don't seem to have anything for him to do unless they are going to continue something with Dibiase/Rhodes.
The important thing is that Kane's record of being world champion for less than 24 hours will finally be broken. Most likely by Kane who will probably hold the title for 30 seconds or so at some point.

No, see....ah hell, I give up. Obviously you're not going to read THIS post either.
Kane's new theme song is unbelievably awesome. **** that Finger Eleven stuff, it was played out.
Good RAW. I can't understand the point of the scramble match of course, but it could be worse I suppose. I liked seeing D-Lo possibly get into the IC title hunt. I liked the womens tag match. I liked Batista's squash even though I like Burchill. Just wish Cena would have lost, but he's jobbed enough lately I guess.

Yokozuna still has the record from Mania IX. Twenty minutes just seems like a weird time limit. Thirty would have seemed more appropriate for a championship match.

To be completely fair, the WWE isn't being crystal clear about this part of it. Their article states:
If any of the Superstars scores a pinfall or submission on any of their competitors, they become the current champion. But thats not nearly the end of it.
The championship can change hands several times throughout the 20 minute time frame. Whoever the champion is when the clock stops will officially be recognized as the World Heavyweight Champion.
Just in those two paragraphs they use the phrases "they become the current champion" and "will officially be recognized as the World Heavyweight Champion." Does "current champion" mean nothing since they don't use the phrase "recognized as" or "officially"? I think it could be read either way.

I've seen a couple comments liking the new song, but I thought it was horrible. Finger Eleven probably had to go, but this new song is just boring and generic and the opening Kane organ theme is barely recognizable. Plus it wasn't that loud at all, it could barely be heard. I thought this new theme was an utter disaster.
