where he lost every match! When you're losing a feud to Tommy Dreamer in 2008 WWE, you're probably already informally discussing the plans for your big return to CHIKARA.
Seeing as Colin was only supposed to be a job guy for one night, he did unbelievably well.
Cherry was getting a bit of a push on Smackdown as part of their new womens division. There's a real lack of babyface women right now, I believe. Why not fire Maryse instead?
I'm going to guess it's because Maryse is hotter.
If you're on TV every week, as part of the main event angle, you could be doing worse.
It was only a matter of time. Stevie had so many mini-pushes over the years that would get me excited for the one time that he would "break through". He even won a few matches earlier this year.
I figured that they kept him around so long because he must've be a model employee.

Originally posted by kentishI assume Stevie is still fairly young, and would be a decent mid card guy for TNA. WWE never used him to his abilities, other than Right to Censor, and that had a limited shelf life. I never understood why they couldn't form a tag team with him, and any one of the other half dozen guys they were wasting. I mean, he is no more or less generic than Hawkins & Ryder.
Don't forget about his magical run as 'GM' of Heat along side Victoria.

Wikipedia says that he is 36 years old. Also -- and this for some reason surprised me -- Stevie Richards isn't his real name (it's Michael Manna). I wonder if that name's unusable for him now?

That sounds about right...and correct me if I'm wrong on this, but the name and character "Stevie Richards" began as an ECW parody of "Shawn Michaels," right?
Who will represent my home city on WWE television now? I took pride in hearing "From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania!" when Stevie was announced.
Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio technically? (Otherwise: Does Tazz still count?)
EDIT: I don't watch more than about a half hour a month anymore so I'm totally out of the loop, but doublechecking the WWE.com rosters was the first I discovered that they fired Balls Mahoney - like, five months ago - and I'm totally bummed out about it for some reason.

Because she is awesome
Because she's the sterotypical wwe diva.
French-Canadian, charismatic, and mean? They're not usually they're any of those things.

Question: Ziggler won Money in the Bank at Money in the Bank in July, not at WrestleMania 28. The briefcase owner has one year to cash in, so doesn't that mean one year from July 12 to July 13, not one "year" from July 12 to WrestleMania 29?
