Inspired by Guinness' thread (The W) about ComicCon ...

If you were to go in costume, who/what would it be?

I'd have to decide between Dr Girlfriend & Dr Mrs The Monarch. (Where would I get thigh-high gold boots with matching opera-length gloves?)

I'd go as Dr. Manhattan. That's right.

The Fourth Doctor. I have the scarf, but I'd have to get a perm.

The Lovely Mrs. Tracker and I are going to DragonCon as Lady Jaye and Shipwreck from GI Joe. We'd go as that this to ComicCon too.

I have a Batman caped t-shirt from a trip to 6 Flags about 5 years ago. I'd wear that.

Lloyd: When I met Mary, I got that old fashioned romantic feeling, where I'd do anything to bone her.

I have always limited myself to a crazy hat in the past. Usually that's enough to make Aaron not want to be seen with me in public.

(Sadly, there have been numerous times when I had my ass grabbed, or was inappropriately bumped into/brushed past while wearing jeans and a t-shirt at Comic Con. I don't think I'm willing to invite more "interaction" by wearing a costume)

I'd dress up as a Sentai, either MagiGreen or DekaBlue. I'm not sure if Sentai (read: Power Rangers) would fit into something like that, but why not?

There's a yearly anime show here in Edmonton, and I'll be attending next years show, dressed up as one, as soon as the costume I ordered comes in. I can't wait!

Well that's appalling. Perhaps an ensemble that includes a tazer ...

I went to WizardWorld Chicago a few years ago wearing a Fantastic Four T-shirt and I put some white streaks in my hair. That's about it.

I've always thought about making a Hooded Cobra Commander costume, but it's been a while since I've been to a con.

Typically, aren't people elitists about that sort of thing, looking down their nose as soon as they find out (or sense that) you didn't make it yourself?

That'd totally keep me from dressing up at something like that.

Sadly they don't allow working weapons, and any metal swords must be peace knotted so they can not be drawn. Not that it matters much, it is like trying to catch the Ghostly Goose. When it happens, there are usually 8-15 people close enough to have done it.

Thing is, I's utterly hopeless with a thread and cloth. I couldn't fix even a pair of socks to save my life.

I've seen the work of the gent I'm looking to buy from, and its good stuff...a bit expensive but otherwisde decent.
