Edge and Christian: "Chris Benoit is here and he's really mad. Chris Benoit is here and he's really AN-GREEEE!"

DDP (dressed as La Parka) hitting Randy Savage with the Diamond Cutter.

Does Big Show's appearance (alongside Tom Selleck and Sue Johannsen) on Late Night with Conan O'Brien count as wrestling history? Because that might be the funniest thing I've ever seen.

Kurt Angle on Raw after winning the King of the Ring, explaining the significance to Kai En Tai(sp?)

"It's like being a warlord...or head Ninja."

Going back awhile, on Piper's Pit, setting up for the Wrestle Mania $15000 Body slam challenge. The segment features Heenan and Studd and Piper tells everyone that Heenan was so confidant about Studd winning that he would show up on Piper's Pit the next week with the $15K.

To which Heenan responds by looking at Piper and whispering "Roddy, I can't do that"

Shoot, I missed that.

Keeping that in mind, Big Show's bits during Rock's first stint on SNL was hilarious. "I just wanted a good seat!"

For pre-taped segments, I have to go with Santino's Casa. They all just kill me.

As for live - mine is anything with Team ECK. The kazoo perfomance of "Medal" still makes me laugh.

"Marriage is like that show ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’, but it’s not funny. All the problems are the same, but you know instead of all the funny, pithy dialogue, everybody is really pissed off and tense. Marriage is like a tense, unfunny version of 'Everybody Loves Raymond', only it doesn't last 22 minutes. It lasts forever."

I loved Angle's excitement when he was gifted the red cowboy hat. They were going for the comedy in this one. However no wrestler would have been able to pull that one off the way Angle did.

Any segement with Golddust after he was electrocuted is a close second for me.

I loved all the Commissioner Foley bits with edge & Christian. My favorite was:

Bobby Heenan doing commentary on the 1992 Royal Rumble. Jake Roberts is pummeling Heenan's man Ric Flair in the corner. Roddy Piper, of all people - who had been feuding with Flair since his arrival in the WWF - pulls Jake off of him and Piper and Roberts start going at it:

"I never thought I'd say this but thank you Roddy Piper. It's not a skirt. It's a kilt! It's a kilt!"

As soon as Jake goes down, Piper turns and starts attacking Flair in the corner himself.

"Oh, you no-good skirt-wearing freak!"

I believe that the single peak of comedy was the Austin/Angle/Vince skit the show AFTER their brilliant skit with cowboy hats. From "CONSUMED!" to the fact that Austin is legit happy to get a present from Angle, to the fact that Austin is legit happy that Angle didn't give Debra a present, to Angle's hushed reverence for a gold badge that matches his gold medals (and apparent surprise at a gift he bought himself) to "we don't need no stinkin' badges." This was transcendent.

There was also the time that they cut to Edge & Christian in mid-conversation, with Christian telling Edge, "--and that is why Balki was THE perfect stranger."

Booker T and Goldust, no doubt, it doesn't get any better than BOOK. BOOK. BOOK. I'M JUST A BOOKER T (BOOKER T), I'M NOTCHO SUCKA. Booker T. Sucka.

I also loved when Goldust went "in disguise" as Jonathan Coachman to interview the NWO and wanted to know why they wouldn't let Gooooooooooldust into the NWO.

Best of recent comedy, so much of which is so unfunny, was undoubtedly Santino Marellataking Jerry Lawler's delicious sandwich.

Oh God, how did I forget that? The way Marella overexaggerated his arms to grab at the sandwich had me howling big time.

OFB mentioning Bobby Heenan reminds me of when HBK threw Marty Jannetty through the babershop window on Superstars. His commentary claiming that Jannetty threw himself through the window to duck Michaels was funny, but not as hilarious as when he compared Marty's bloody face to the nails of a worried spectator. Classic stuff.

I have an old VHS lying around featuring a Rick Martel vs. Tito Santana match. Monsoon and Heenan disagree about who's going to win, and decide to place a side bet. If Santana wins, Heenan buys dinner. If Martel wins, Gorilla buys dinner.

It was a dullish to average match considering what those guys could do, and for the finish Martel rolls up Santana with a handful of trunks for the pin.

As soon as the bell rings, Heenan laughing and cheering like he just won the lottery, the WWE title and the presidency in the same minute. You've never heard him more excited, then...

"Oh you're in for it now, Monsoon. I'm going to get the LARGE fries!"

Oh man, that's hilarious. I'm honestly surprised that every entry on this list wasn't a Heenan line.

I remember a houseshow a number of years ago; it was a no DQ match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vader: the ref was pissing Austin off, so he stunned him during the match. It was probably the funniest thing I'd seen live.

I think Austin won that match.

Who could forget the X-Pac jokes?

Edge: "Hey X-Pac, 1998 called and they're sick of you too!"

and

Goldust as Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin (RIP) "Here we have the X-Pac, they tend to suck!"

That reminds me of the early Austin/Undertaker title match before Austin turned all the way face. Austin went low on Taker right in front of Earl Hebner and after being questioned gave Hebner a double bird behind his back. No less than like four seconds later Taker goes low on him and Austin's crying to Earl about it and Earl lets loose a giant FUCK YOU, which Austin sold like a chokeslam.
