I don't quite understand this, I mean Shaq was just freestyle rapping. It was kind of funny I thought.

I made it known in another thread that I didn't care for Shaq's bush league tactic in the least. How far did HIS team get this year? Yeah, exactly.

That said, I think demanding his badges back is more than a little harsh. I mean, I know that horrendous rapping should be a criminal offense, but come on.

Shaq just having fun. I enjoyed it (as a Lakers fan). Shaq-Fu was just having some fun freestyling. Must be slow in the American sports world stories these days.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said the Phoenix Suns center's use of a racially derogatory word and other foul language left him no choice. Arpaio made Shaq a special deputy in 2006 and promoted him to colonel of his largely ceremonial posse later that year.

"I want his two badges back," Arpaio told The Associated Press on Tuesday. "Because if any one of my deputies did something like this, they're fired. I don't condone this type of racial conduct."

I think it's fair that he loses his honorary badges. They are just holding him to the same standards as the REAL deputies.

I thought the reason Philly was knocked out in Round 1 last season was because the Celtics went berzerk in the 4th quarter of Game 5.
