That wasn't too bad, but I'd like to know how you'd adapt t working with a color commentator. Please do this again with your wife or brother in the role of Tazz so we can judge the total package. Nice work!
I didn't believe you actually do it. But there it is (for a few hours anyway.) I thought it was good. I've been watching random CHIKARA podcasts and it was as good as the guys on there. I think Vince would want you to push the 2 on 1 story now, but would be happy with you bringing up the knee bit from last week.
Also, the best part of the 100th ECW episode bit is the look back at all the guys who most definitely will not be on next week.

If I were to create a clip like this, here's how I'd do it:
1. Find the source material from the usual places and edit down to just the main event 2. Playing back the clip through headphones, record a new audio track of commentary using, for example Audacity. 3. A program like iMovie is pretty good for merging the two sources - also for a fade-up effect and adding your favourite domain name to the bottom left corner for a few seconds 4. Perhaps QuickTime would be good at compressing the resulting movie file into something more upload-friendly (like DivX format) which could then be sent to YouTube.
I mean, that's probably how *I* would have done it. I'm certainly not claiming I did it or anything. All of you who automatically assumed it was me, I don't know what to tell ya.
The funny thing is, out of the three clips of this style left on the YouTube, the one above and another fairly competent one have been pulled, but the really God awful "funny" one is still available. This may just be coincidence...although one COULD interpret it as "they go after the stuff that might make them look bad first." ;-) If you're a glutton for punishment - and really, this match can't be seen enough times - here's a link to the last clip standing (youtube.com). I didn't get through the first two minutes, but maybe you can get all the way to the end!
So I was thinking about this today, and it occurs to me that the commentary track probably is not present in the surround tracks if this is done in Prologic or 5.1. You could probably figure out a way to grab enough crowd noise out of a regular broadcast to do a convincing job if you wanted to try this on your own on a different day.
