I still have school in the summer but I do plan on seeing A few movies like Iron Man, Hulk, Prince Caspin, And speed race. i am also taking my wife to Six Flags GA for the first time ( Last time I went they just built the Giant Drop.)
Oh... My usual, lots of travel for work, I work a week of kids summer camp and will take the team I coach to Atlanta for nationals. Two kids to college in August instead of one this year.
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

I don't think a lot of members of this board are into Heavy Metal, but I've got tickets to see Iron Maiden in June, and pretty good seats. Other than that, some day trips around New Hampshire and a lot of grilling.
Vacation in San Francisco area in about a week. Trip to NC to visit friends from high school. At least a couple trips to my girlfriend's family's little island near Vinalhaven & North Haven, ME.
Doing lots of running. So far I've got at least one road race every week through July.
Working in the lab and getting ready for my PhD qualifier exams in late August.
Finding and moving into a new apartment sometime in between.
Lloyd: When I met Mary, I got that old fashioned romantic feeling, where I'd do anything to bone her. Harry: That's a special feeling.
My girlfriend finishes her Ph.D this summer, so that's our big event. Family and friends will be in town from all over the state, and my parents and her parents will meet for the first time. Hilarity will ensue.
We may plan a couple of small trips to yet-to-be-determined places - or we may not.
Now that my youngest daughter has flown the nest, we just sold our house that we have lived in for the last 21.5 years and bought a newer, smaller one. So I know that at least for the next 30 days my plans will be packing, downsizing and generally clearing out 21 years worth of crap. Then actually moving in and setting up the new place.
After that, hanging out by the new pool with the newly purchased margarita machine. And probably wishing the kids would drop by.

Hopefully going to make a return trip to OH to finally go to Cedar Point this summer.
Mostly though we want to really enjoy Chicago this summer. Go to as many festivals and events as possible.
spf, I'm jealous. My wife and I love Hocking Hills and the trails/caves. And Cedar Point is great also.
Like AWA and others my summer is work, our daughters last 4-H fair at state and local level. She is in Lions State Band and a period band at a local Santa Fe Trail Fort. And lots of horseshows unless gas hits over $4.
But first we have to survive tornado season. Tomorrow is the one year Anniversary of the Greensburg tornado. We spent that night and the next in our basement as we are less than an hour NE of there.

A lot of house stuff, getting the roof and porch fixed from the December storm, gardening, tearing the "roof" off of our hillbilly gazebo so it stops flapping in the wind. Enjoying a variety of family and friends coming to visit while the weather is fabulous. Eating our own fruits and veggies from our yard (first crop of blueberries... nom nom nom), taking Stormy for long hikes, and enjoying our new kittens when they come home in a few weeks. I hope we can also squeak in a few weekend trips to a few places in Oregon and Southern Washington but that will likely be more of a "get in the car we're going" than a greatly planned event.
My wife and I are heading to New Jersey (near Morristown) at the end of June to visit my dad for his birthday and finally see his new house (roughly three years after he moved east).
I've never been to NYC, so I'm sure we'll be doing all the requisite New York stuff (Broadway show, etc...).

Make sure you wave on your way by.
We don't usually go north enough to get near China. Coming from Boston it's 95-> 295-> Rt 1 into Rockland, and then the ferry to North Haven and her parents' boat out to their island.
This year we're going to try out the train/bus to get up to Rockland. I have no idea what route that takes.

I'm seeing them too when they make it down my way.
Heading to Hilton Head the first week of June and doing a little golf, fishing, and R and R with the family. Then back to work, but plenty of early Saturday morning fishing this summer.

I don't understand how the bars bother people. Within minutes of starting a movie your mind filters them out and you don't see them. I mean if you were watching on a 14" or something I could see it maybe.
