Looks like this clinches that this season will be centered around Jim's struggles to avoid morphing into Agent Michael Scarn. For the second time in like four episodes or so, Jim reaches out and commits four serious errors in judgment. Oscar is offended again, Stanley's always hated them (PB&J), and even Phyllis is having issues. The Toby thing (jesus toby, by the way) also happened on his watch, whether or not it was his fault (and maybe it is Jim's fault. Jim and Pam are a established work couple, but they do walk the line of PDA "H.R. No-no" in their relationship. Maybe it drove Toby to the edge, which can happen. I really should close this paraenthesis.)
Also...
- Meredith can't buy a break this season. - Andy and Angela are the best couple, but that's like 88% Andy there. - First time since he got dumped that I've seen Dwight on point. The way he took command of both the girls to get in the club and then helping Ryan out. I wonder if it was in the back of the writer's mind to contrast Dwight/Jim tonight. Dwight's been so focused on plotting against Andy that maybe he needs a round against the reeling Jim to further boost his confidence.
- Pam throwing the football was one of the most unexpected funny moments I think this show pulled on us yet.
- Dwight making the comment that Ryan's friend probably had a higher tolerence to drugs because of his speicies type was a good way to show that they knew Ryan was all hopped up all along.
- I was hoping we'd get some more Toby soon, and it was worth the wait. What an impressive meltdown.

It's a good question, but there's little wonder if he's leaving or not: the episode three weeks from now is titled "Goodbye Toby".
I personally liked how Jim steps up with one great idea, only to not cover all bases, and ends up looking like a jackass. Poor guy. At least they don't have to come in Saturday.
Dwight...is a mack and he doesn't even know it. That whole basketball team was all over him, and he just...shot them all down. Wow.
This was an interesting episode, i didnt like it as much as "The Chair Model" but it was well like any Office episode, a good Office episode.
Interesting, seeing Jim as the designated dick of the night.
I really didn't get anything from this episode. I will admit, however, after two new episodes without seeing much (if any) of the supporting staff, and countless months of reruns due to the strike, it was very nice seeing everyone again.
I hope that Toby stays. He's one of my favorite characters on the show.

One cast member is leaving to do the Office spin-off that debuts after the Super Bowl next year. It's not necessarily Toby (it could be a tease,) and I don't think he'd play well as a main character, but it's a possibility.
Michael's "Sexy preschool" and Kelly's question of "How dare you?!" for Ryan were killers for me. Ryan being coked out of his mind was pretty amusing too. This show just can't miss for me.
Yup, I make it a point to watch Dan Patrick's show every morning. His studio was done by the Mancaves people...and it's awesome. I also try to catch Oz when I can...the show is pretty intense, plus the cast...
