(have I asked for a Chikara logo before? Can't recall at 0300 hours.)

tonight's show -- slightly above average, some odd finishes and intriguing angles.

1. Amasis & Ophidian def. Fire Ant & Soldier Ant
2. Robbie Ellis def. Ice Cream, Jr.
3. Vin Gerard NC Worker Ant
4. Chuck Taylor & Icarus def. Player Uno & Create-A-Wrestler
5. Helios def. Lince Dorado to retain the CHIKARA Young Lions Cup
6. Gran Akuma def. Jimmy Olsen
7. UltraMantis Black def. Tim Donst
8. Brodie Lee def. Shane Storm
9. Mitch Ryder & Shayne Hawke def. Cheech & Cloudy
10. Mike Quackenbush (c) def. El Pantera to retain the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title.

very strangely, the hardcore and usually not-family friendly Bull Pain showed up as the new partner/hired muscle for Vin Gerard. He destroyed all of the Colony with bat shots.

Tim Donst, in a daze, left with UltraMantis Black and Hydra after his match. It would be so great if this was a modern version of the Bob Roop/Kevin Sullivan angle from 1980s Florida territory.

Main event was going along great when it ended of the blue with Pantera taping to the CHIKARA Special (a wacky lucha submission). It seemed like they match was just building at that point.

Even if the people had no idea who 50% of the people in the video were, they knew they were legends, if not only based on context. Seeing Mr T, Hogan, Savage, Flair, HBK, Bret Hart, the old UT, and other stars they recognize was thrill enough, I am sure....
