Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you...

Let me make one thing abundantly clear even though I didn't enter this pool. I don't care how many points it would cost me in any of the pools I did enter - I would not mind it at all if the Bruins of Belmont could do the impossible and topple the evil ones tonight.

EDIT: Dammit. Not only do the evil ones survive, but I get the double deuce as USC's loss kills my bracket before we're even out of the gates. *shakes head*

While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.

Way to go, Kent State. 10 points in the half?!? Wow.

I would have loved to see Belmont take down Duke, oh well.

A pretty blah first day otherwise. No real upsets, but happy to see the Big Ten go 3-0 and UCLA look dominant.

As bad as my bracket looks now, nothing warms my heart more than seeing Dook lose and lose badly. As an added bonus, over the course of the past two games Demarcus Nelson finished off his collegiate career about as poorly as humanly possible. And to think some people think he's the best senior in the nation. Ha!

If it weren't for the fact that someone forgot to make their picks, I think I'd be coming in last place.

UConn and Duke ruined that whole quad of the bracket for me. I had them both in the Final Four.

Note: I do not watch or follow college basketball. And it SHOWS.

Well, if I visited this forum more often, I might have battled you. I have (had?) a Final Four of Duke, Stanford, North Carolina, and Vanderbilt.

Duke is gone in Round 2. Vandy didn't make it out of Round 1. Stanford is down in OT in Round 2. Look out NC.

... Yeah, I might as well should had forgotten to make my picks. I probably would have done better if I had picked at random, my braket is so shot to pieces. Especially the West region- with the expection of my choice to win it all (UCLA), ALL of my picks are already eliminanated.

Heh, my East and my West brackets are fucked to hell. Only North Carolina and UCLA made it to the Sweet 16 as I thought they would. My pick to win it all, Duke, lost in the round of 32. I'm 27-for-48 so far. Bah.

Using the scenario generator on Yahoo, the best I could finish would be tied for 4th. Yikes.

Maybe my deep and utter hatred for Duke taints my perspective, but I am shocked at how many people (in this pool and otherwise) are surprised that Duke is gone already. I am absolutely BAFFLED at how many people picked them to not only make it to the Sweet 16 (!) but also to the Final Four (!!) and even the title game (!!!). Did nobody watch them play this year? I mean, they were on national TV, like, twice a week.

Didn't watch a single game. Grew up cheering for Duke, and I always put them way too far in the tourney.

I finally made the top 5, but I can't win. I'm one point behind SuperShaneSpear and we have the *exact* same games picked the rest of the way. Similar situation in my wife's office pool. Again, close but no cigar, but since I got to take the first two days of the tourney off again this year, I'm still a winner!
