Let's face it, no one gets anywhere in the WWF without a big time signature move. The Axe Kick and the Sidekick have NEVER been sold consistently as one day it could pin an upper midcarder and the next show Bossman could get up from it during a tag match.
Hell, the fact that neither has had their names WWFized (though Cody Dunlap claims JR called the Axe Kick the Ghetto Blaster a few times during InVasion) makes it worse as even Kanyon's Flatliner got the Titan Treatment and became "I'm better than you".
So what should be his finisher? Can they bring back Bookend without hurting Booker T by making him look too much like the Rock? I doub it. So I throw my vote in for him to use the old missile dropkick as a guy his size always looked amazing flying in the air. Harlem Heatseeker BAY-BEE!
White Boy Says:
AMEN!! Harlem Heatseaker all the way! Or the Harlem Hangover. Either of those are amazing moves. But then again, the WWE will make him stay grounded cause God forbid anyone fly high but Jeff Hardy.
Triple H is on the opposite show (right now-- wait until KotR, though-- sigh) so for the time being, he can't book himself over Booker T, who is rapidly becoming one of the most over faces on RAW.
“What's so great about crack?” “Uh, uh, it enhances your personality.” “Yes, but what if you're an asshole?”
eke, you have quite the point there. And I feel your pain with anticipation towards KOTR. It seems that once again Triple H's never ending push will get him on both shows. And I really was looking forward to a good KOTR this year with so many fresh faces.
That's what you get for anticipating a WWF pay-per-view. I'd have thought you'd know better by now... LOL.
Of course, the WWF couldn't possibly have built upon RVD's near-World Title win against Undertaker by having a match between those two at KOTR. Noooooo, they had to have Triple H get another shot at the Undisputed Title-- while the guy he beat for that belt is having to cheat to beat guys like Mark Henry and Faarooq.
Honestly. It truly makes me wonder why I'm even watching in the first place, sometimes.

Chris Jericho used the stroke for a while, calling it the "Breakdown."
The Stroke and Breakdown aren't technically the same move, just similar. Both are forward Russian legsweeps, but the Breakdown adds a full nelson. The Stroke just grabs the head and slams it forward (and doesn't THAT sound dirty)
I believe Jericho still uses the Breakdown on occasion.
As far as the Triple H/Undertaker match goes, that's just the WWE trying to keep some continuity in their storytelling. This PPV, it's a Smackdown guy's turn to go for the belt. RVD could hopefully get his shot at the next PPV, barring a feud with the Bossman. I'm assuming that Taker'll win this match, as it'd really be helpful if the belt stopped trading places every month.
This is the biggest weakness of the current setup, though. Since title shots switch between shows, it makes it hard to build up any meaningful feuds over the belt (like the one had by Triple-H and the Rock on 2000, or Kurt Angle and Stone Cold in 2001).
The breakdown would be a good finisher for Booker, except that the move has been cheapened while in use by Jericho. He never won a match clean with it, as it either took a Breakdown on a chair to win, or the opponent simply kicked out, sometimes not even after a long two. If they ever wanted to have the move gain some credibility, they would have to get some upper card guys to stay down for it.
Booker has bad wheels and can't seem to do top rope moves anymore - which royally sucks. I'm assuming that's why we haven't seen the HeatSeeker or even the awesome Harlem Hangover either.
But - FIRST - and foremost - TURN HIM FACE. The crowd wants to cheer him, dammit. :)
I was just playing No Mercy, and wow, I know they could never do it, but it would be flat out AWESOME if they let Booker use a top rope Super Powerbomb as a finisher. Now that my friends is a high impact move.
BUUUUUUUT since that will never happen, my vote goes to Death Valley Driver, cuz exposed neck stuff RULES.
Power Slam was probably the UK's best known wrestling magazine here in the UK. This week, it was announced that, after 20 years, it's ceasing publication.
