Did no one else watch this week? Where's the thread people?

This week was a really good show leading into the PPV this weekend. We had all six guys from the main event in matches against each other with Kurt and Christian giving a stellar performance as usual. We had a really fun battle royal with Curry Man winning, which was a pleasant surprise. More shenannigans with Team 3D that was't as bad or as time consuming as usual. Rhino destroying the 'Beer Belt' and calling it a piece of crap. (THANK YOU Rhino!!!) And for the biggest shocker... Tomko getting a win over Samoa Joe! I was very happy at this, even though it was kinda crappy with it being a First Blood match and all, so you knew he'd win in a sneaky way like that.

Overall, I thought it was a pretty solid show leading to the PPV Sunday.

'The Kevster and his 17-time surgically repaired knee' seemed quite honest in asking "I'm supposed to follow that?" after Christian's promo. That Joe/Christian/Nash segment was brilliant, and it was a fairly good show all round despite a fair bit of silliness in places.

I am back from Disneyland! I didn't get you anything!

Yeah, not a bad show. I agree with Cerebus -- one of the highlights was Rhino smashing the Drinking Title to bits.

Curry Man winning the Battle Royal was cool, too -- he actually got thrown out by Rellik and was standing outside the ring -- looked down -- saw that he was standing on the prone body of Jimmy Rave, not the floor, and was therefore not eliminated -- CURRY MAN DANCE!

I dunno about Tomko's win being "shocking" -- it was in the middle slot in a best-two-out-of-three-matches situation, which makes the outcome kinda forgone. I think this is actually the third win that Tomko has over Joe, the other two being pinfalls. That'll be a good thing to play up when -- I hope -- Tomko challenges Joe for the World Title.

I liked the Hernandez/Awesome Kong staredown and I think I'd like to see that match.

Curry man continues to entertain me every show. I'm loving his stuff. Is that seriously Chrisopher Daniels under that outfit? The end of the battle royale was brilliant.

The end of Tomko vs. Joe was really good, too. I'm continually impressed with the charisma that Tomko shows, and I wonder why the WWE didn't capitalize on that.

I kind of liked the Beer Drinking Belt. It was ugly, sloppy, and dumb...but then again, isn't that the best way to explain James Storm?

Are Team 3D supposed to be faces now?

All in all, good show. I may pick Destination X up on PPV tonight...but I'm not sure whether TELUS TV (my provider) offers it.

I saw the cage match which wasn't bad, but I thought TNA didn't have 'Climbing Matches' to escape the cage. Their cage door was ridiculous as well. They couldn't make that thing any smaller?

Watching this match it made me think how Kennedy really has the spot in the WWE that Christian should probably have. That whole spot of upper level dick head was tailor made for Christian.

I think it's odd that there is no true face in the top feud in TNA.

Seeing Kevin Nash try to be Kevin Nash with his long grey locks of hair just makes me giggle like a school girl.
