I have a doctor appointment tomorrow morning (it's nothing serious!) so this will be EXTRA PERFUNCTORY.
Karen and Kurt Angle argue. Kurt blows her off.
Booker T calls out Robert Roode -- Payton Banks comes out instead and slaps Booker. Traci Brooks is out -- Banks & Brooks catfight.
Johnny Devine tests Team 3D's willpower by taking them to a buffet.
Scott Steiner and Petey Williams vs. Black Machismo and Sonjay Dutt: Steiner adjusts Petey's poses for him. How sweet! Rhaka Khan scares SoCal Val away. Fair match; Steiner hits Dutt with one of his title shot cases and then Petey Canadian Destroys him for the pin. I approve of the Petey/Steiner team.
Devine takes 3D to a candy store; 3D start eating straight out of the bulk dispensers. Devine catches them and they look like guilty little kids, ha.
Eric Young is still scared of monsters; Kaz tries to convince him that they are not actual monsters.
Curry Man and Shark Boy vs. Team 3D: Curry Man has a pretty great new entrance video. Team 3D fails to make weight (even after Ray strips down to his Looney Toon boxers), so Shark Boy makes an open challenge ("Gimme a 'Shell Yeah!'"). Out come Black Reign and Rellik.
As the match is in progress, Team 3D and Devine come back out, as does Kaz. Shark Boy hits Reign with the Chummer and gets the pin (ha, ha!).
Brawl afterwards. Eric Young comes out to help but is scared away by the monsters. 3D puts Kaz through a table.
Roode and Banks beat down Booker and Brooks.
James Storm vs. Eric Young: This is a Ladder Match for the TNA Drinking Title. James Storm doesn't want to go up the ladder because he's been drinking and his equilibrium is off. After a couple of ladder spots to put down Young, Storm tries going up -- nope, can't do it. Miss Jackie goes up instead, retrieves the belt and hands it to Storm. Surprisingly, they don't announce Jackie as the new Drinking Champion.
Rhino is out now and knocks Storm ASS OVER TEAKETTLE with a Gore. And then he steals the Drinking Championship Belt! RHINO, CALL YOUR SPONSOR.
Angelina Love vs. Awesome Kong: Before the match, Roxxi predicts that Love will be hurt. Wow, she MUST be psychic. Love gets a little offense in by being sneaky (a personality trait she's exhibited before) but Kong catches her with the Backfist -- then the Implant Buster -- then the Awesome Bomb. Any ONE of those would have sufficed, probably.
After the match, ODB and Gail Kim are out and they brawl.
Kevin Nash vs. Kurt Angle: This is their first ever meeting, apparently. Nash looks pretty old. Angle focuses mostly on the legs, including an extended Figure Four. Later, he's on the outside, have rammed himself into the post (as he is wont to do) and Karen comes out -- Kurt SHOVES her away and she goes down hard(later it looks like she is bleeding from the nose or mouth). AJ Styles is out to check on her and Earl Hebner -- having previously sent him to the back (along with Tomko, Christian Cage, and Samoa Joe) -- comes out to protest his presence. Nash gets a phantom pin off a Jacknife Powerbomb while Hebner is occupied. Kurt hits him with a low blow and an Angle Slam for the pin.
After the match, Kurt celebrates while Styles carries Karen up the ramp to the back.
Middling show.
Also: I will not be here next week. Please, start the party without me!

See, now I can definitely live with Shark Boy and Curry Man going over the scrubs like Black Reign and Rellik (which is "Killer" spelled backwards, you know). Curry Man is still one of the best things on TNA TV right now, although "Stone Cold" Shark Boy's 15 minutes of fame are rapidly running out.
I'm shocked that the Kurt/Karen/AJ love triangle is actually turning out to be compelling. Styles is carrying his end of the segments exceptionally well and Kurt's playing the douchebag role to a tee. I like it all. I can only hope that this is one angle that doesn't end in some moronic swerve, because I really like what I'm seeing so far.
Ray Dudley continues to be the funniest guy in wrestling. Divine has had no chance to give us a personality, and I'm surprised Team 3D is continuing to use him instead of another prominent smaller guy.
Sonjay ate that Destroyer like a champ. That was RVD-level selling.

I was actually insulted watching TNA this week and I feel like complaining to someone... like the FCC or something. Yeah, I know, it sounds stupid, but I kinda see why the idiots behind the PTC complain about wrestling all the time.
The stupid Beer belt annoys me to no end. TNA used to be the more family oriented show, but now thay fucking have a belt with a spinning beer bottle on it and more characters then I can count (not really...) are always seen drinking or drunk. ODB, James Storm, Miss Jackie, Eric Young, that's be 4 drunkards all on one show! This really doesn't sit well with me. It's not even funny anymore. They need do move on to something else.
That wasn't even the only thing this week. Kurt Angle pimp slaping his own wife and only caring about getting the win? What the fuck is that shit all about? I understand it's fake, I understand it's just a storyline, but that doesn't make it alright. I don't want to see Kurt 'accidently' beating his wife. It's bullshit. These people are better then this shit, they need to know when to say "Fuck no! Russo, write something else, I ain't doing this shit."
I just don't know how much longer I can keep watching that shit.
Fuck, I sound like a parent!
Anyways... other stuff on the show is really good. The stuff with Scott Steiner and Petey Williams is entertaining and that Canadien Destroyer was very nasty looking. Curry Man and Stone Cold Sharkboy rule the wrestling world. The Knockouts stuff just gets better and better each week. Booker T and Robert Roode has me glued to the seat... You see, TNA does do things right, but the bad shit is starting to overwhelm the good for me.
Just watched this weeks TNA. Not bad the Kurt vs. Angle storyline is moving along pretty well unless of course it's a shocking swerve at the end. Eric Young seems to suffer from Kane diesease. A wrestler I like who is stuck in a lot of terrible storylines.

As a matter of fact, Yes. My moms first husband swore like a sailor, her second husband used to blurt curse words all the time as well, and my mom dropped the occasional 'Fuck' like it was a common adjective. "Pick up your fucking clothes.", "Get to fucking bed.", and Taaaaaaaake of that fucking sweater, it's 80 degrees in here." were heard on a daily basis in our house.
How did you guys fucking guess?

But they have managed to make Black Reign and Rellik interesting as a tag team. I'd like to see them work with a number of other groups.
Also, and I should have mentioned this earlier, nice job with the history of the VKM in TNA. TNA should do this more often with their performers.

Hey did you know that Rellik is killer backwards? No seriously TNA does do tag teams better than WWE. They actually do a lot of things better. They just do some things a hell of a lot stupider too.

The VKM video made TNA look really bush league as they tilted at the Stamford Windmill who could not have cared less.
Some awesome things about the Team 3D/Curry Man feud:
-Devine enjoying the hell out of that cheesecake
-Bubba AND Devon stuff!
-Guestimating they buy 500lbs of beef "once, maybe twice a week"
This feud has made the Sharkboy nonsense tolerable and I can shrug off (for now) that the MCMG have dropped off the face of the earth.
I do believe the proper payoff for this angle is to have a 6 man with the masks and Lethal vs Team 3D + Johnny at a PPV where Devine fails to make weight (he loves his cheesecake!)
Big props on the in ring stuff thanks to the Knockouts, Lethal, Dutt, Petey, Steiner(?!), and Storm too.
Though the JVC Kaboom of the Week has to be Kazarian beginning to point out to Eric that water only makes Gizmo's kind multiply, it's feeding them after midnight that's the real problem... before realizing he was in the midst of arguing Mogwai semantics.
And rejoice English majors/anal retentives: he referred to it as Frankenstein's monster!
