I may have disagreed with Buckley on many things, but no one can deny that the man was a genius and a major figure. The world is a less interesting place without him in it.
Not agreeing with him on much of anything, I still found him thought provoking, fascinating, and well-grounded in his beliefs. He was the type of conservative that liberals like myself respected and listened to without sarcasm.
