The Razzie winners are in. And this year's "winners" are:

WORST PICTURE:
I KNOW WHO KILLED ME (Sony/Tri-Star)

WORST ACTOR:
Eddie Murphy (as Norbit) - NORBIT

WORST ACTRESS (tie):
Lindsay Lohan (as Aubrey) - I KNOW WHO KILLED ME
Lindsay Lohan (as Dakota) - I KNOW WHO KILLED ME

WORST SUPPORTING ACTOR:
Eddie Murphy (as Mr. Wong) - NORBIT

WORST SUPPORTING ACTRESS:
Eddie Murphy (as Rasputia) - NORBIT

WORST SCREEN COUPLE:
Lindsay Lohan & Lindsay Lohan (as The Yang to Her Own Yin) - I KNOW WHO KILLED ME

WORST REMAKE OR RIP-OFF:
I KNOW WHO KILLED ME (Rip-Off of HOSTEL, SAW and THE PATTY DUKE SHOW)

WORST PREQUEL OR SEQUEL:
DADDY DAY CAMP

WORST DIRECTOR:
Chris Siverston - I KNOW WHO KILLED ME

WORST SCREENPLAY:
I KNOW WHO KILLED ME - Written by Jeffrey Hammond

WORST EXCUSE FOR A HORROR MOVIE:
I KNOW WHO KILLED ME

Personally, as much as this year's field was interesting, I'll definitely be waiting for next year. Between "Meet the Spartans", "Strange Wilderness", Paris Hilton's "The Hottie and the Nottie", and Larry the Cable Guy's "Witless Protection", you've already got a strong field on contenders for next year's "Worst Picture" category. And it's only FEBRUARY!

Damn, with that many 'awards' handed to Lindsay Lohan, they should re-name the movie to "I know who killed my career".

Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you...

I wonder if Paris will be lucky enough this time next year that everyone will have forgotten about The Hottie and the Nottie.

...

...

Eh, doubt it. ;)

While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.

So unless I misread something, Eddie Murphy and Fire Crotch took Every. Single. Award.

Oh...wait. Daddy Day Camp was the sequel with Cuba Gooding, Jr. that I didn't see, not the original with Murphy that I didn't see.

Well, close enough.

Might as well just cancel the Razzie Awards next year and just give all the awards to Paris right now.

I agree with Texas Kelly. Her only hope is that the Razzie people forget about the movie a year from now.

I happily admit that I KNOW WHO KILLED ME was rather entertaining and quite worth watching.

It's like SHOWGIRLS or EMPIRE RECORDS where you know the film is bad, but it sucks you in and won't let go till it's over.

Forget it Josh... it's Cerebustown.

I don't know if 'hope' is the right word.

Given what you'd likely stumble across if you Googled "Paris Hilton movie" right now, I'd say sweeping the Razzies would represent quite the step up in the credibility stakes for her acting career.

Well, I agree. Yes, this film is trash, but only in the sense that enjoyable trashy movies are trash. I really liked it. I just think most people are all "ZOMGWTF LINDSEE LOWHAN SUX" instead of actually giving anything she's in a chance.
The soundtrack was neat too.

Empire Records was NOT bad...at all.

I really want to see the Lohan movie, now that we know that she is just a latter-day Marilyn Monroe (okay, maybe not).

Sweet - if that's the case, Obama HAS to win the presidency.

Quite, but to be fair she was entirely not trying to make such enjoyable trash but something of genuine quality. The Razzies have always tried to reward big name/money gubbins rather than what was actually the worst movie out there. Catwoman was bad for example, but I would have a hard time believing Ms Berry's performance was the absolute worst by a young lady in any movie produced that year.

Abso-blooming-lutely. Perfectly enjoyable adolescent coming of age fun that I'll always have something of a soft spot for, and certainly a step up from Showgirls or the works of Paris Hilton.

Unless you were being sarcastic. In which case, damn I'll look (more) foolish.

I was not being sarcastic at all. It is not a great movie, but it was far from bad. The performances were all pretty good (especially Liv Tyler). It was certainly better than Showgirls or the even more annoying Striptease.
