So, my girlfriend recently bought tickets from StubHub for the upcoming Foo Fighters' MSG show. Problem is, they're e-tickets. That's not a problem necessarily, but I'm a paranoid lad. I've always avoided e-tickets. I'm not worried at all about her getting a refund in case the tix are invalid or have already been scanned. But I've been waiting for a Foo show at the Garden for a very long time (first time ever at MSG and it'll be televised on Fuse TV at 11PM this coming Tuesday!). It would be crushing to get to there only to be turned away.

To anybody who has ever used secondhand e-tickets: please share any horror stories. Even better would be if you got bad e-tickets from StubHub. How were your dealings with them afterwards? Were they able to find replacements (as they say they will attempt to do)?

Also, why would eBay and StubHub not force ticket sellers to specify whether tix are hard stock or electronic?

This isn't what you sound like you wanted, but I've used e-tickets bought from StubHub 4 or 5 times now and I've never had the slightest problem. It did feel sketchy the first few times, but then again I don't really ever go to shows that are more than 30-40 bucks and an hour away so its not too risky.

I've bought them second hand a few times (not from StubHub...from Craigslist) with no problems.

Oddly enough, I've had bigger problems with Ticketmaster. They double-sold our exact seats to a show in Santa Barbara a couple of years ago.

Yeah I felt exactly the same the first couple times I bought tickets online, and still feel a little nervous each time, but I've never had a problem with ticketsnow.com

I think what helps me relax a bit is realizing that they original purchases of the tickets do make pretty good cash off these sites, and they don't want to lose that income by scamming someone out of a few tickets one time.

I watched "Alias," which was the most frustrating episode EVER. (Just TELL us what it says, already!) I forgot the 9/11 thing was even on. I am *so* addicted to that show. However, had it been on at 9:
