Just curious, what did everybody eat while watching the Super Bowl?

At the first house I munched on smoked turkey on soda bread and a piece of rum cake, but there was also pasta salad, cole slaw, 4 different salsas, a veggie platter, and brownies I didn't eat.

We went to another house at half-time where there were wings, pigs in a blanket, a few cracker platters, but all I munched out on there were pierogies.

Jalepeno Cheetos.

They were way better than I expected. I don't like the Flaming Hot Cheetos.

Some kind of "butterscotch crumble" thingy
Fish Tacos
Shrimp & Cocktail Sauce
Cheese & Sausage platter

For the BYOB I brought...

Lazy Mutt Ale (never had it before, won't again...liquid yeast..bleh)

2-for-1. Copper Kettle is also awesome, but it's kind of a waste to get pizza from there when the Greek food is so good.

So I'm IN the Fred Meyer with a whole lot of options around me, trying to decide what to grub on during SB XLII...

- one Totino's 3-meat Party Pizza
- two Henry Weinhard's Root Beers
- half a bag of Smart Puffs that have been in the pantry since about 2006
- one bowl of Tillamook mint chocolate chip ice cream (no delivery from Guru included)

Not my most imaginative SB menu, I think it is fair to say.

Holy fuck shit motherfucker shit. Read comics. Fuck shit shit fuck shit I sold out when I did my job. Fuck fuck fuck shit fuck. Sorry had to do it....

We had a few friends over, and as per usual, my wife cooked enough to feed the entire Giants team!

Meatballs
Chicken Wings (Honey garlic and Sweet Chili)
Potato cakes
Homemade pesto pizzas
Veggies and Homemade hummus
Homemade guacamole w/ tortilla chips

There were also various snacks including honey mustard pretzel pieces and a bowl of ruffles for the kids...

Ate the leftovers for dinner last night...

Had a few people and the in-laws over.

- Tortilla Chips w/ queso & 7-layer dip that someone brought
- Lil Smokies with the recipe Mrs. Guru listed in the Test Pattern thread (1 cup bourbon, 1 cup ketchup, 1 cup brown sugar - and they were EXCELLENT, thanks)
- Veggies and Ranch Dip
- Brie w/ some fruit chutney on top and baked in a pastry puff (my wife's creation, not MINE)
- Assorted cookies (oatmeal raisin, choc chip, peanut butter)
- Of course, plenty of Sam Adams beer (hate the team, but those New Englanders make a damn fine brew)

Chilli, chips, dips, some weird ass pastry things left over in the freezer from Christmas, Carlsberg Export, Lagavulin.

I wouldn't recommend the pastry things, and not just cos I can't remember the name.

Then as soon as the game finished, an absolute shed load of coffee, for I had to leave for work but three hours later.
