The triple cage is kind of funky. The one I remember was from Great American Bash '88 where you had to climb a big freaking ladder just to get the the top cage and then fight down into the 2nd and ultimately bottom cage. That match kind of plodded along and with no blading.
One match that was really hot here in PNW was the Coal Miner's Glove match, Dutch Savage's signature match. I have seen some brutal glove matches from the 70s and 80s. I'd like to see that one come back.

Originally posted by CEOIIII had an idea for a match around the Attitude era, something for Austin to do, but it'd probably work for James Storm now. A Case Match.
1. Both guys drink 1 case of beer pre-match.
2. The match itself is Falls Count Anywhere, with one other stip: You are DQed if you pass out or throw up at any time during the match.
It would be one of those "memorable but not ***** classic" matches, unless you put some great sellers in there.
The problem with this is that it opens the door to worked vomit, and that's not a place I wanna go. Though from the sounds of it, TNA was heading in that direction on their last PPV.

I wouldn't mind the C-4 match that Funk and Foley wanted to do for Mania 10 years ago. WarGames: The Match Beyond is a no-brainer, if done in the 1992 and prior method, not the sanitized version that generally occurred post-'93. Since he took over the company, has Vince ever done anything with 2 rings set up, whereby he has to give up revenue from ringside seats? Some of those real wacky stipulation matches from Memphis, whether it be the football match that Foley discussed in his book, or the old Price is Right match, where in a tag match, each of the wrestlers puts up an item, whether it be a singles title, hair, money etc.

It's not a route I'd wanna go in either, I just threw it in there for completeness. Kinda like how the Outlaw rule hasn't been used in Fatal-4-Way tag matches in a long while. (The Outlaw rule was "You can't pin your own partner to win a Fatal-4-Way tag match", created after Roach Hogg and No One did just that to retain their tag titles.)
Originally posted by CRZThe last 2/3 match before THAT was MVP beating Chris Benoit in two straight falls, which was a disaster because it caused Benoit to kill his wife, child and self. I THINK that was the timeline, anyway.
I'll admit it. I chuckled.
Yeah, I see your point. Benoit won two straight in the aftermath of that but decided to job to himself anyway in the third fall.
like seriously dude if you have such a venomous hate for the WWE then just get the "F" out already. I have yet to read a post from you that wasnt a direct and pointless assault on something.
