AFC

1 New England Patriots 7-0 (EAST)
2 Indianapolis Colts 6-0 (SOUTH)
3 Pittsburgh Steelers 4-2 (NORTH)
7 Kansas City Chiefs 4-3 (WEST)

4 Tennessee Titans 4-2 (WC1)
5 Jacksonville Jaguars 4-2 (WC2)

6 Baltimore Ravens 4-3

8T Cleveland Browns 3-3
8T San Diego Chargers 3-3
(it's too early to start figuring out strength of victory)
10 Denver Broncos 3-3

11 Houston Texans 3-4

12T Cincinnati Bengals 2-4
12T Buffalo Bills 2-4
12T Oakland Raiders 2-4
(ditto)

15 New York Jets 1-6

16 Miami Dolphins 0-7

1st Round: JAX @ PIT, TEN @ KC; Byes: NE, IND

NFC

1 Dallas Cowboys 6-1 (EAST)
2 Green Bay Packers 5-1 (NORTH)
5 Carolina Panthers 4-2 (SOUTH)
8 Seattle Seahawks 4-3 (WEST)

3 New York Giants 5-2 (WC)
4 Washington Redskins 4-2 (WC)

6 Detroit Lions 4-2

7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4-3

9T Chicago Bears 3-4
9T Arizona Cardinals 3-4

11T New Orleans Saints 2-4
11T San Francisco 49ers 2-4
13 Philadelphia Eagles 2-4
14 Minnesota Vikings 2-4

15 Atlanta Falcons 1-6

16 St. Louis Rams 0-7

1st Round: WAS @ CAR, NYG @ SEA; Byes: DAL, GB

This seems the most unbalanced year in many - a couple teams really good, a handful really bad, and the rest leaning downward. You might get 1 questionable division leader a year, but it feels like there's three of them right now (Carolina, KC, Seattle). Someone will get hot to fix it.

As intrigued as I am by the thought of the Pats having the best record in the NFL, I'm almost as intrigued by the 49ers having one of the worst. Is it too early to figure out draft order?

Numbers don't lie. Joe Morgan does.

Personally, I'm too lazy to figure out SOS right now. But http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=168028 apparently isn't. The #1 pick that San Francisco traded to New England currently stands as the #5 overall.

Doesn't New England lose a first round pick as punishment?

They lose their own first-round pick (currently projected as the #32 pick), but they traded for the Niners' pick last year and the league isn't taking that one.

That is, assuming they make the playoffs, which hasn't happened yet.

I would like to know where he might be picked? There was an article that had quotes from NFL scouts that were uneasy about his skills.
