Hello,

I need some help. I want to do a last minute trip to Mexico with 4 friends (all guys) in the 2nd week of November. We want to party, but not anything major (we're in our late 20-early 30s). I've been to Cancun in Feb and that's just too much, but we don't want to go anywhere it's a ghost town.

I've heard Los Cabos is nice, but it's more of a golf resort. Has anyone been to either place in November? What would you recommend.

Thanks,
Sean

Steve Austin: "Oh shit, he actually said that? I thought the boys in the back were ribbing me!"

Kelly: "No, he really said that. Did they tell you the part about you sitting in the stands, looking all skeptical?"

Austin: "AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah... oh man that was too much."

I've never been to Los Cabos, but my girlfriend and I are going there with two other couples the first week of December. One of the other couples went on their honeymoon last year to Cabo San Lucas and decided to get a group trip together this year.

From what my buddy told me, there is plenty to do outside of the golf thing during the day(booze cruises, beaches, fishing, sailing.) And he said the nightlife is pretty good with plenty of bars and nightclubs to hang out at.

If you do go, then let me know because I am definitely curious.

Cabo, Cabo, Cabo!

Well, it depends. When you say "Los Cabos", there are two possibilities: San Jose Del Cabo, where the airport is located, and Cabo San Lucas. The two cities are about a 40-minute drive apart along the bottom coast of Baja California, and all along that coastline are resorts and golf courses.

My recommendation is to stay in the city of Cabo San Lucas. There's a couple of decent hotels in town: Tesoro and Finisterra. CSL is a great party town, but also a place where you can kick back and relax. Sammy Hagar's bar Cabo Wabo is there, as are a couple of other great nightspots. Lots of women, beautiful natural scenery, at least one great sports bar, and wonderful cruises...well, I like the place.

One negative: the endless attempts to sell you a timeshare. It's enough to drive you to homicide.

Check out the reviews and forums on tripadvisor.com for more info, or I could help point out some "things to do/see" if you do decide on Cabo. I've been there three times in the past six years, so I hope my lay of the land is decent.

I liked the episode, but I couldn't get over how self-centered Tim is. I don't know if he intended to do it, but it seemed like with all his speeches, he never really remembered that Amanda was also a focus of the show.
