We are about 4 days away from this ppv and as much as my wife regrets me buying tickets for this, lets start predicting the match's
ECW Tittle Match CM Punk VS Big V
I think I'll go with the home town boy Punk
Finly vs Mysterio
Rey mysterio
WWE Womans tittle match Candice Vs beth Phoenix I say we get a new Womans champ in Phoenix
HHH VS Umaga Triple H
WWE World Tittle Punjabi Prison match
Batista Vs Khali
I have to go with Batista on this
WWE Tittle match
Randy Orton vs....
Ok I have no idea how they are goina save this show One way I see is Make Triple H, and Umaga fight with Randy for the belt and have randy pin triple H.
in place of that match add a tag team tittle match
The red necks Vs Londric vs highlanders in that match i would like to see the Highlanders win
Punk d. Big Daddy Viscera Finlay d. Mysterio Umaga d. HHH Khali d. Batistia Candice d. Beth Phoenix Shocking swerve: Y2J returns and wins the vacant title.
(edited by Oliver on 3.10.07 1931) I've seen 16 movies so far this year: Because I Said So - (2*); Borat - (5*); Children Of Men - (4*); Die Hard 4 - (5*); Evan Almighty - (3.5*); Fantastic Four 2 - (4.5*); Hairspray - (5*); Harry Potter 5 - (4*); Knocked Up - (4*); The Last Mimsy - (4*); Mr. Brooks - (4*); Resident Evil: Extinction - (3.5*); Shrek The Third - (3*); Spiderman 3 - (3.5*); Superbad - (1*); Transformers - (2*)

I think it's either that or someone from Smackdown jumps to Raw to win it. If they were just going to give the title to HHH or Orton they'd have announced a match and participants (e.g., HHH vs. Umaga vs. Orton) by now. The only good reason to keep the details of the title situation so vague is to not give away that the new champion will be someone you don't know is coming to Raw.
I expect some sort of informal battle royal where a shocking surprise entrant can waltz in late to a big pop. Jericho's a natural to save the show and shake things up, but Undertaker could have nearly the same effect.
Punk d. Big Daddy V (possibly by DQ) Finlay d. Mysterio (but in setting up longterm fued fashion) Umaga d. HHH (longterm fued fashion) Batista d. Khali Candice d. Beth Phoneix (least sure of this on) The new champion is going to be something special to draw in viewers.. so probably Ralphuss.. or the realistic Jericho.

Guess I'd better go back and watch ECW.
Mysterio over Finlay Big Daddy V over Punk (Morrison's out of favor, but they want Punk chasing) Batista over Khali HHH over Umaga, Vince, Carlito, Shane, Snitsky, The Stooges, The Mean Street Posse, and The Spirit Squad (a post-match beatdown sends HHH out on a stretcher to keep him out of the WWE title match) Beth Phoenix squashes Candice In a match where any ex-WWE Champ is eligible, HBK returns, Flair gets in, Kane appears, but in the end Batista comes back out to win, and become unified champion. His-to-ry.
No Jericho appearance. If he came back in Chicago, he'd get a 1.0 Stone Cold on the pop scale.

Viserca over Punk but via DQ... no way Punk wins clean but Punk retains title
Phoenix over Candice... they've spent too much time not to make Beth the champ
HHH over Umaga - with Cena out, this is a 100 stone cold lock
Batista vs Khali - who cares but Batista will retain the belt
Finlay vs Mysterio - Finlay will be the good WWE employee and job to Mysterio
Raw title - like the Y2J winning it but more like HHH or Orton with yet another HHH/Orton feud.
Tag Team match - The Highlanders getting a push makes this title already the joke that it is. This used to be a great title to have. No idea who wins.

They haven't mentioned what the match for the title would be because they literally have no idea. Supposedly that decision will be made today. So really, at this point, our guess is as good as theirs.
There's one more match that'll be announced on Smackdown (completely unrelated)...
Spoiler Below: Highlight text to read
MVP & MATT HARDY vs. KANE & UNDERTAKER for WWE Tag Team Titles. Winners: MVP & Hardy via some sort of shenanigans from MVP.
CM Punk vs. Big Daddy V for ECW Championship Winner: My heart(?) says Punk, but my gut and brain says Big Daddy V is going to be your NEW ECW Champion. Which will make history, because it'll be the first time there's ever been an ECW Champion who has sent an e-mail to Justin Shapiro because Justin called him fat. Mysterio vs. Finlay Winner: Mysterio. With everybody out they need all the starpower they can muster, and Mysterio's one of only a handful left that can actually draw. The time's now if they want to enact those "BIG PLANS~!" they had for him after Summerslam that never materialized. Candice Michelle vs. Beth Phoenix for WWE Women's Championship Winner: Candice. HHH vs. Umaga Winner: HHH. They can't even let Umaga look strong in a run-in against HHH, for Christ's sake. Batista vs. Khali for World Heavyweight Championship Winner: Grandpa 'Tista.
Hey, if we're going to do wild speculation for the WWE Championship match?
Randy Orton vs. Ric Flair for the WWE Title Winner: Orton, but this starts a big Flair program leading up to 'Mania.
Jericho, if he appears, will come out to cut a promo. That's it.
WWE Championship Match, ? vs. ?: My heart says Jericho, but my mind says Orton. As for who they would beat....I don't know, Sarge?
Punjabi Prison Match, World Heavyweight Title: Batista vs. Great Khali: Batista bested Khali on Smackdown, and I can't imagine they'd do another switch this early, so I'm hoping this is the beginning of the end of Khali and Batista retains.
Triple H vs. Umaga: Triple H continues his dominance.
ECW Championship, CM Punk vs. Big Daddy V: I'm actually saying V wins this one.
Finlay vs. Rey Mysterio: I'll go Rey by DQ.
Women's Title, Candice vs. Beth Phoenix: Candice retains.
V over Punk thanks to Morrison interference. Then Dreamer can launch a last-hurrah feud with Big Daddy and Punk and Morrison can settle their issue in some kind of gimmick match at Cyber Sunday.
Beth Phoenix over Candice. I can see no other reason for booking this match again.
Kane & The Undertaker defeat Matt Hardy & MVP for the tag team titles after MVP finally turns on Hardy.
Triple H versus Umaga goes to a non-finish to set up another choose-yor-weapon match at CS.
Rey Mysterio beats Finlay despite the efforts of JBL
Batista over Khali, no questions asked
Ric Flair returns to battle Orton for the vacant championship, and wins it in dramatic fashion. I want to say it'll be Jericho, but a) I don't think he'd job in his first match back, and b) I don't think they'd put the title on a guy who won't be working house shows.
To those who say people wouldn't look; they wouldn't be interested; they're too complacent, indifferent and insulated, I can only reply: There is, in one reporter's opinion, considerable evidence against that contention. But even if they are right, what have they got to lose? Because if they are right, and this instrument is good for nothing but to entertain, amuse and insulate, then the tube is flickering now and we will soon see that the whole struggle is lost. This instrument can teach, it can illuminate; yes, and it can even inspire. But it can do so only to the extent that humans are determined to use it to those ends. Otherwise it is merely wires, and lights, in a box.-Edward R. Murrow
Punk over Big Daddy V via DQ when Morrison comes back and attacks Punk. On ECW Morrison tells us that he knows he can beat Punk, so that's why he made sure BDV didn't win the title.
Beth Phoenix over Candace to win the belt. Beth starts feud with Mickie James on Monday.
Taker and Kane beat Hardy and MVP via DQ when MVP uses the tag belts to attack Kane and to get himself DQ'ed. They still hold the belts.
HUN-TOR over Umaga. He then squashes the entire Raw Women's division afterwards, just cause.
Mysterio over Finlay.
Batista over Khali.
Orton wins the WWE title, no matter who he faces. Jericho is held off until Monday night, and they build to Jericho/Orton at Cyber Sunday.

Meltzer says the WWE Tag Team Title match between Undertaker and Kane vs. MVP and Matt Hardy is happening at the Smackdown tapings.
ECW Championship: Punk will retain in Chicago, but he'll look shitty doing so against Big Daddy V.
WWE Women's Championship: Beth wins the Women's title.
Rey beats Finlay.
Triple H beats Umaga. This will go 20 minutes and will probably have copious use of weapons and McMahon interference.
Punjabi Prison Match: Everyone's a winner. Batista will probably retain. Or maybe he won't because of the need to "protect" Khali being the master of the specialty match he's never ever wrestled in. Whatever. I really couldn't care less at this point.
WWE Championship match: Who the hell knows? I don't think it will be a one on one match and it will have to be fairly long with only 6 matches on the show. Undertaker not being booked on the announced card hopefully means he'll be a part of whatever the format of the match will be. Orton is the most likely pick but that's because he's the only name guaranteed to be in the damn thing. If Chris Jericho does return at the show, then he's probably winning the title, despite the fact he hasn't wrestled a match in 26 months. Unless Triple H vetoes the idea as he always does to Jericho.
Best case for Orton not to win the title (because they don't care how many Internet smarks hate him) is the need to close the PPV with a happy ending because John Cena is gone. Only a lunatic would end the show with the Punjabi Prison match, but then Undertaker vs. Mark Henry closed Unforgiven. There's no rationale to the madness of WWE's booking choices.
If there's a way for No Mercy to not blow, I'm not seeing it. Surprise me, WWE.
The ONLY way this show does not blow is if the title match is a 20 man Battle Royal for the belt and everyone who is anyone is involved and the last man standing is Ric Flair. The crowd goes home very happy and the interent marks get their farewell title reign from Flair. Then, at the next PPV, Flair drops it to Orton, which is beleivable and solidifies Orton as the LEgend Killer as Ric rides off into "retirement".
At this point, as much as I love Jericho, putting the belt on him is wrong. He needs a mini feud to get the ring rust off before he goes for Orton. Then he can beat Orton for the title....and hand it over to HHH.
Fry crack corn and I don't care Leela crack corn I still don't care Bender crack corn and he is great Take that you stupid corn!
"just because you ARE a character does not mean you HAVE character.."
I say that is Taker and Kane dont win the tag belts and we have a battle royal for the wwe title then I say Taker gets it. wasn't the plan for him to fude with Umaga till the rumble?
Except the Taker/Kane tag title match is now booked for Tuesday, which would suggest that he's staying put. And even with Cena missing, I don't think they'd want to take away SmackDown's one non-Hispanic drawing card.
Also, this show looks better on paper than Unforgiven. Rey/Finlay is a guaranteed good match, and HHH/Umaga could be very good. I think they'll deliver a big-time match in the WWE title situation too. If those three matches deliver, that's half the card.
To those who say people wouldn't look; they wouldn't be interested; they're too complacent, indifferent and insulated, I can only reply: There is, in one reporter's opinion, considerable evidence against that contention. That was embarassing. PTC just apologized to WWE, and what do WWE do? Put a guy on who brags about taking conquests instead of studying classes, and that he served his girls with the leftover GHB he happened to have handy.
