It's been a while since I saw a soda thread. Anyone else tried this?
It's billed as "Dew with a blast of citrus cherry". I thought it was OK...my kids can take it or leave it (mostly leave it). I thought it tasted like a cherry soda..with maybe grapefruit in there somewhere?
I'll finish the twelve pack, but I don't think I'd go out of my way to buy it again.
I bought one only so I could contribute to a thread. I thought it tasted odd. I think I expected it, despite its bright orange color, to have more cherry flavor. I thought it was too heavy on the citrus, and if I wanted orange soda or citrus-y soda I know where to find them already.
I don't know if I'll even finish the 20 oz.-bottle.
Holy fuck shit motherfucker shit. Read comics. Fuck shit shit fuck shit I sold out when I did my job. Fuck fuck fuck shit fuck. Sorry had to do it....

Love it! Very sweet, like a fruit punch. It's like Code Red and regular blended. I've liked all the variations on Mountain Dew ---except Pitch Black. Too sour.
Game Fuel has 42 mg of caffiene per serving which is highter than regular Dew.
I like Live Wire and Code Red but this just doesn't sound very ineresting. I don't drink many sodas. But along the lines of this thread and all the new flavors, to me most of them just taste odd and not much like what they claim to be. I wonder if in ten years, many peple will even be aware of what the real, original flavors of things were.
So would you say it's Ruby Red Squirt? I'm happy with Code Red and don't know if I'd bother to try it, but since I haven't seen it yet I haven't had to make that decision...
Recent soda thoughts:
Coke Vanilla: Who are they fooling, it's Vanilla Coke and it's BACK
Coke Vanilla ZERO: Okay as diet sodas go, but I don't think I like vanilla enough to buy 12 of them at a time
Coke Cherry ZERO: The awesomest diet soda ever
Diet Coke Plus: In line with the other diets - do I really NEED that calcium? I tried to only have one of these a day...I know too much calcium will give you .... what does it give you again? Kidney stones?
Diet Pepsi MAX: Haven't had it. I get funny feelings about guarana in my pop for some reason. (I think Aaron loved JOSTA though)
Pitch Black Mountain Dew: I wish it would come back again!
SURGE: Still listed in the State Fair list of foods, but I strongly doubt it's being served. (I'm going to keep an eye out, though!)
It's definitely NOT Ruby Red Squirt...it's...different. I know that's extremely helpful. For my taste it's like that "punch" they serve at church mixers...different types of juices and 7-up? But with more cherry flavor.
Oh, man...you guys always get good new pops! We JUST got Fanta here in Canada; their Wildberry soda is pretty decent.
I've seen 14 movies so far this year: Because I Said So - (2*); Borat - (5*); Children Of Men - (4*); Die Hard 4 - (5*); Evan Almighty - (3.5*); Fantastic Four 2 - (4.5*); Hairspray - (5*); Harry Potter 5 - (4*); Knocked Up - (4*); The Last Mimsy - (4*); Mr. Brooks - (4*); Shrek The Third - (3*); Spiderman 3 - (3.5*); Transformers - (2*)
I have really been trying to quit drinking soda recently. I'm down to a 12 pack of regular Dr. Pepper and the occasional fountain Diet Pepsi (I live in Pepsi world here - no Coke except for Subway, McDonalds, BK, and Taco Time)
When I do get something odd, it has been some Orange Creme soda (I want to say Weinhardt's?)
My wife bought me a 12 pack of Peach Fresca the other day thinking that she was doing something nice.....don't worry honey, I still love you
may have to push aside the Dr. Brown's Diet Black Cherry to try Coke Cherry Zero - haven't seen the new Mt. Dew yet but will keep my eye open for a try - it can't be any worse than Coke Blecch was....

I haven't tried GameFuel yet (because personally, I'm boycotting Mountain Dew till they can and bottle Baja Blast ) but I have tried another relatively new soda from the fine folks at Pepsi-- Manzanita Sol.
I love the stuff! It's apple-flavored soda that's just slightly tart, unlike the way Apple Slice tasted many many many moons ago (although I liked that sodey too). Anyone else tried this one out?

I've never heard of that. Judging from the name, I'm guessing it's only found in places with higher Latino populations.

Gamefuel tastes like a caffinated version of Tahitian Treat. It's not bad, but I really, really miss Pitch Black. Either one, the old plain grape version or the Xtreme Sour one. It was the only grape soda I actually liked.
