that's right, i'm pretty sure he's been using it throughout his wwf run thus far. it was a pretty good match, with all the time constraints and such. but anything to get chavo on my tv is a GOOD THING.
The match was solid, but having seen their old WCW matches, I got nothing out of it, unfortunately.
As much as I'd like 10+ minute cruiserweight matches every week, it *would* make the main event look a little flat most of the time, eh? But is 5+ too much to ask?

Actually, he's been using it since like January of 2001, near the end of WCW.
I like Kurt Angle and Kanyon. But I love Maven, and can't figure out why...
Wait a minute...I thought DDP's music was the "Come as you are" ripoff. AIRC, Raven didn't even use music in WCW, just came to the ring all silent and grabbed a mic. (It ruled, by the way. Why aren't there any music-less wrestlers now?)
I always thought Jericho's old music was a blatant ripoff of Pearl Jam's "Even Flow," which was weird because Raven did a move called the Even Flow. Hmmm...
YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME!?! - The immortal, chilling words of...The Shockmaster!
DDP had the smell's like teen spirit rip off. I dont recall Raven ever coming out to a nirvana rip off song, but in the WCW video game Mayhem, I believe, Raven is introduced with a song that resembles come as you are. (It sounded really cool)being played as his intro Speaking of which,I to thought Jericho's WCW music was a ripoff of Pearl Jam's Evenflow, except for the crappy solo .
Didn't Raven used to come out of that ringside seat he always had with Stevie Richards? I don't believe he had any music at that point.....when he started coming out normally he had the lyricless Come As You Are sounding thing.....
I remember when Raven first came in, and all he did was sit at ringside, with no music at all. Soon, during 1998, is when he began using the "Come As You Are" theme. He used it up until his alliance with Vampiro and ICP, as The Deadpool... During which they used ICP's "Take It". This was his last theme, before taking off for ECW.

"Raven" Unreleased Produced By Raven/Jimmy Hart 1998
This track is arguably the most recognizable piece of theme music composed for a WCW performer. Raven produced the track along with Jimmy Hart, which is actually an amalgam of 2 different popular rock songs. The opening riff is a distaff version of the opening riff from Nirvana's "Come As You Are," while the rest is a takeoff on the Lynyrd Skynyrd song, "That Smell." Raven liked this track so much, he has said on Dave Meltzer's show that he wishes he could have taken it with him to Extreme Championship Wrestling."

About some of the other themes mentioned...
DDP used a ripoff of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit".
Chris Jericho used a ripoff of Pearl Jam's "Evenflow".
Chavo Jr. is currently using one of the themes Eddy Guerrero utilized in WCW. During the LWO days, the "La Raza" phrase was added to the beginning portion of this theme.
Chavo hasn't always used the theme in WWF though, as during the Invasion and Alliance days, I remember him using what sounded like some generic-sounding electronica.
To me, the coolest WCW theme currently in use by the WWF is Kidman's theme. Particularly when you watch it with the entrance music and the Shooting Star Press matches the opening riff of the song. Beautiful.
