He's not my first choice to host a talk show, but I'm more of the Tom Snyder (RIP)/Charlie Rose crowd. Fallon seems to be exactly the sort NBC and Lorne Michaels would want: SNL alum, familiar face to the target demographic. Whether or not that audience goes for him is another matter.

This is such a bad idea, the only possible way this makes sense is if they float this so that bumping Carson Daly up to 1235 doesn't seem nearly as bad in comparison.

When 12:30 comes around, I always struggle to choose between the always-amazing Conan or the rapidly-rising Craig Ferguson. I usually feel guilty about passing one up in favor of the other.

Nice to know that in 2009, I won't feel a shred of guilt about devoting ALL my time to Late Nite with Mr. Wick.

I don't know, I'd love to close every evening listening to an unfunny comedian giggling at himself for an hour. Sounds like a winning recipe to me!

It certainly won't change my habit of never watching a late night talk show, but Jimmy Fallon is probably better than any of the other options. A lot of people dislike him for some reason that I've never quite understood though. Maybe because I missed a lot of his time on SNL.

Harry: That's a special feeling.

Conan's the only late-night show I watch. I think Leno's just not funny, so I watch Late Night instead. When Conan gets the Tonight Show, I'll watch that and not watch Late Night.

I like the guy, I admit it. But I don't think this is the right type of gig for him. To be honest, I think he would have been better on Price is Right, and Drew would be better hosting a talk show.

And dare I say, Justin Timberlake has to be on it, too. Did I just say that?

Of course, for anybody who remembers when Conan was given Letterman's spot, he wasn't given a chance in hell. The fact that they stayed with him through the painful shows produced early on is a testament to digging your feet in long-term.

Still, I can't believe NBC will let Leno go. I think NBC's best bet is to keep Leno and let Conan bail to another network and compete. Conan would at least split Letterman's ratings in a battle for second place and leave Leno the clear winner.

The extra stuff seems to be at the very end, where the kid talks to Optimus Prime from his bedroom window. As for canon..*shrug* I can easily live with a change of story and everything. No problem. Just..I am still not sold on the designs.
