For those of you joining us late (like myself), this would be an example of a "real time" thread, and maybe after reading every post in the thread you can see why I hate them and try to encourage people to not do them on the Pro Wrestling board.
So who jobbed on their way out? Regal... Kendrick & London... and...?
Did Striker ever have that match with one of the Majors Brothers he was setting up in backstage segments or did they forget about that (or are even the writers watching ECW)? (Also, did those hillbilly dudes ever meet with Theodore Long in Baltimore?)

It could have been worse. there were threads on "other boards" where you had 6 or 7 posts in a row, all with someone just listing who was picked. That is how you get 12 page threads. :>
Since they were not placed on the same show in the draft, does this mean the Hardy's are done as a tag team for the foreseeable future? If not, why can't everyone else just jump from show to show whenever they want like Matt and Jeff? They make all of these moves, yet the one person who desperately needs a change of scenery remains stagnant. Shelton Benjamin needed to get away from RAW and have a fresh start on either SD or in ECW tearing the house down with Benoit.

1. London/Kendrick to Raw....well, it pretty much cripples the tag division on Smackdown. Get ready for those marquee Deuce/Domino vs. the Majors matchups! As for Raw, I think the logic is to recreate some of that Hardys magic, except with younger guys who aren't established singles competititors. The door is still open for a future Hardy/L&K bout.
2. Dykstra to Smackdown....Excellent move. He can step right in to compete for the US and even the cruiserweight belt
3. Viscera to ECW....uh, who cares?
4. Sandman to Raw....likely the precursor to "He doesn't know how to work, so let's cut him."
5. Holly to Smackdown....uh, who cares? At best Holly is a one-show challenger to Edge. It would be kind of fun to see him and Finlay just stiff the hell out of each other.
6. Miz to ECW....This isn't a bad move. Miz actually has some talent, and he's the kind of guy who could've blossomed as a heat magnet in the old ECW
7. Daivari to Raw....I don't get this one. Why move a cruiserweight off the show with the CW title? He won't get any exposure or a push on the main show.
8. Majors to Smackdown....Essentially just taking London/Kendrick's place
9. Regal to Raw....Leaves Dave Taylor in the lurch, but Regal probably moves up to IC title range. Anything that gives Regal more TV time is good in my book
10. Victoria to Smackdown....I guess it's a negligable move, but it's a shame to move one of the best female workers from the show with the women's belt
11. Jillian to Raw.....Fills Victoria's slot nicely.
12. Eugene to Smackdown....Easy one-week challenger for Edge, or who knows, maybe they'll actually turn him heel or something
13. Nitro to ECW....biggest move of the whole supplemental draft. On ECW, Nitro is basically a main eventer. I guess this is the end of he and Melina.
Originally posted by BigDaddyLocoECW actually did the best for themselves here.
Johnny Nitro probably gained the most from moving.
I would think he lost the most, since they split him up from his girlfriend. Regardless I hope they moved him to jumpstart him and the point isn't to just send him to the purgatory brand. Although he's New Breed material, and Benoit vs. Nitro would/has/does rule.
It had been a while since him and Melina had actually been on-screen together, she rarely accompanies him to the ring any more, so other than the theme, they hadn't really been together on-screen all that much.

Yes, but they split him from his real life girlfriend, meaning they won't be traveling together. That's probably not a good thing in Nitro's eyes. Plus I realize Nitro is going to be a main guy on ECW but he was sort of feuding with Cena earlier this year and now he's been demoted off the A show, main eventer or not, that isn't a good sign for him. I'd rather be anywhere on the Raw show than anywhere on the ECW show.
Poor Edge, he's been the reason to watch the WWE for the past two years and they give him a roster where his best competition is Victoria. With Regal and London and Kendrick gone that show is just getting worse and worse.
There is no reason Raw shouldn't be awesome with all the talent they added, unfortunately we'll probably have to endure Vince stuff for the next couple of months.
Nitro and Benoit to ECW makes me have interest in them but I wonder how many Boogeyman, Viscera, and Miz matches we're going to have to sit through.
I really like Jillian to RAW. She's been saying on her myspace that she wanted to go to RAW so she can contend for the Women's title. And with Victoria going to SD, she's the only other heel female besides Melina.
Poor Kenny and Nitro get split up just as their tag team was forming. And I guess this means no tag team title going to ECW with the only established tag team leaving ECW.
Also, what annoys me is how they kept teasing tag teams spliting up but when they do the draft, the teams are drafted together. I really hate how WWE does these bait & switches all the time.
But, what show really got screwed? HEAT! They lost Euegene and Visera. So, now its just poor Val and maybe Cryme Time/Highlanders to fill up the matches.

CHUCK PALUMBO, stiffin' the hell out of indy guys.
Originally posted by MayhemSpeaking of splitting-up off-screen, real-life couples ... aren't Kenny Dykstra & Mickie James engaged or something? Sucks for them too, I guess.
It may suck at first, but clearly the plan is to settle the real-life rift between Melina and Mickie by forcing them to lean on each other during this time of personal crisis. And in the end, everybody wins!
I don't see the logic in moving The Sandman to the flagship show if they don't like how he works or are looking to dump him. Wouldn't they just have not used him at all?
He still has a ton of charisma and can be a fun character to watch. His matches may be sloppy, but I bet the crowd could really get behind him spitting beer around and slapping people with his cane.

I agree, and I would maybe have him do an angle based off this. Perhaps someone from Raw (a heel or maybe even a woman) will try to "teach" him how things are done away from ECW. They can try to mold Sandman into a wrestler, and Sandman can go along with it for a while, especially if he loses a few matches right off the bat with his old style.
Meanwhile, the fans will hate it because what they love about the Sandman is being taken away. At some point, Sandman figures out that he can't change who he is, and then you can have him get revenge on the heel and turn back into the old Sandman.
Sorry for that bit of fantasy booking. I do it because I agree with those who say that without doing something out of the box with Sandman, he is likely to have a few matches and then be let go. And I like Sandman, so I want to see him have a chance to succeed.

Its a good move, because maybe instead people reading spoilers they will watch the show. It might also lead to them weeding out those who cannot cut live.
