And I think that was actually in Friday The 13th Part VI: Jason Lives.
All the bad guys in the Fist of the North Star series.

The death of the evil Bishop in Ladyhawke is one of my favorites. It's enormously satisfying from a storyline perspective and a way-cool visual to boot.
Jack Bauer shooting Nina in the head. Honourable mention: Jack emptying his clip into Victor Drazen in the season one finale.
From LOST: Nicki and Paulo being buried alive. I can't believe they actually did that on a network show. Also, when Michael killed Ana Lucia, and then turned around and shot Libby out of nowhere.
The Wicked Witch of the West's death is still pretty awesome, after all of these years.
In the Tim Burton Batman, when Joker falls about 50 stories and Gordon has to turn off his laugh box.
In T2, when Arnold finally figures out a way to kill the T-1000
Also, he doesn't really 'die' per se, but the old man at the end of Ikiru, dying of terminal cancer, sitting in the park he worked so hard to get built.

Forgive me for going on a tangent here, but this death always bugged me. Hans is about to shoot McClane and/or his wife and McClane frees Holly's watch and Hans goes hurtling down at the split second that Hans gets his gun pointed at them. Why the hell don't you pull the trigger anyway? I mean, if he shot before he started falling... he would end up falling anyway, right? Why not still pop them in the face as your falling?
I dunno. Probably have too much time on my hands.
Oh, I second the wire fence death in Final Destination 2. A similar death occurs in one of the Resident Evil movies, where a laser grid cuts through some soldier and turns him into about 100 gelatinous cubes of flesh. Very nice.
Chingachgook killing Magua in Last of the Mohicans
Darth Vader killing the Emperor in Return of the Jedi
I also agree with 24 killing Dennis Hopper and Inigo Montoya getting his revenge.
and maybe the coolest most awesome TV death ever:
Thomas Magnum killing Ivan "Did you see the sun rise this morning?"
'But if one is struck by me only a little, that is far different, the stroke is a sharp thing and suddenly lays him lifeless, and that man's wife goes with cheeks torn in lamentation, and his children are fatherless, while he, staining the soil with his red blood, rots away, and there are more birds than women swarming about him.' Diomedes, The Iliad of Homer

It was the first one, and the entire sequence was awesome.
Death Wish 3 also had some cool (and hilarious) death scenes:
* Cuban hoodlum falling off a building flailing his arms behind his body (obvious dummy) * Innocent old couple gets doused with molotov cocktails and sprayed with bullets * A thug is sent off the second story of a house by a woman with a broom * My personal favorite - the head bad guy Manny Fraker no-selling a series of gunshots ("Bullet proof, asshole! Just like yours!") only to eat a projectile from a rocket launcher.

O-Ren Ishii/Lucy Liu in Kill Bill 1 Glen Lantz/Johnny Depp in Nightmare on Elm Street Derek Abernathy/Adam Ant in World Gone Wild Detective Brikowski/Stanley Tucci in Lucky Number Slevin
Indiana Jones in the first Raiders when the big Arabian starts with all the fancy sword moves and Indy just shrugs and pulls his gun and shoots him. The crowd going nuts after was great. I always laugh whenever I see that.
On Scrubs (already mentioned) when Brendan Fraser died was done so well.
The end of Hostel when the butcher gets his in the bathroom at the end. Justice!
Fry crack corn and I don't care Leela crack corn I still don't care Bender crack corn and he is great Take that you stupid corn!
"just because you ARE a character does not mean you HAVE character.."
Joss did have a lot of good deaths. Wash's death in Serenity caught me off guard. Buffy having to kill Angel would've been good too if he didn't come back almost immediately the next season. I liked Spike dying as a hero at the end of Buffy and I like the irony of Lindsey being killed by the weakest good guy. And of course Darla sacrificing herself for her baby was a good moment
Another Lost death also, I liked Sawyer killing the real Sawyer as he has now crossed over to an even more badass place. Sayid killing anybody is pretty good too.
Doc Holliday dying in Tombstone always gets me.
I think Aslan's death in the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was well done.
Just about all the Gremlins' deaths in the first movie were cool, especially the one that blew up in the microwave.

I know it's kind of weird sounding, but I really like throwing a jar of applesauce in a fondue pot with a bag of caramels, a cup of peanut butter, a cup of cheddar, and a tablespoon of cinnamon. Dip pretzel rods and enjoy.
