Wow, no thread yet?

So Linderman's done for and Peter won the election. Peter is an idiot for letting Ted go with the Feds after reading Sylar's mind, and Sylar's all 'Boom goes the dynamite'.

After watching this episode, I have to wonder what Candice really looks like? Is she really a she? I had to laugh picturing that she really looks like Comic-Book Guy.

What exactly was he supposed to do, attack all of those federal agents? Powers or no powers, that wouldn't have been a wise move ...

The beginning of the episode was a bit of a let-down ... Last week's cliff-hanger left us wondering whether Claire was gonna put a bullet in Peter's head, then yesterday Peter is all "Nope, I'm better now" and that was the end of it. I guess there really was no other alternative (kill Peter now, with one more episode to go?) but it still just seemed kind of lazy to me.

However, the rest of the episode made up for it - can't wait to see how things resolve themselves next week.

Also curious to see how this "Heroes" spinoff plays out ...

So to beat the dragon, Hiro must learn to cut out his own heart. Does that mean he has to sacrifice Ando? And did Hiro learn how to become some kind of badass sword guy that afternoon? His dad must be one hell of a teacher.

My favorite moment was the quick random shot of the elevator with the Muzac playing and Parkman looking awkward next to Jessica.

With DL dieing does that change the future? We saw Sylar with his walk-through-walls power. Can Sylar take someone's power even after they're dead?

I'm also wondering what Candice looks like. I hope she's some hideous freak. Most of the mutants on this show have been good looking people. Let's get one that looks like the Elephant man.

'But if one is struck by me only a little, that is far different, the stroke is a sharp thing and suddenly lays him lifeless, and that man's wife goes with cheeks torn in lamentation, and his children are fatherless, while he, staining the soil with his red blood, rots away, and there are more birds than women swarming about him.' I'm really surprised they killed Linderman. I figured they'd keep him around as a major villain for at least a couple seasons. Of course, they could always resurrect him comic-book style. Maybe say his healing powers kicked in automatically and brought him back. Actually, I kind of like the idea of a villain that can't be hurt or killed.

If anyone can pack a few days, or months, of learning into an afternoon, it's the guy who can control time.

Best moment of the show: "Your last thoughts." BLAM

But is Bennet really cold enough to kill a cute little girl?

Actual conversation during the show:

Me (referring to Candice): "She's right, you have to wonder what she really looks like."
Mrs. Shem: "Me."
Me: *vicious tickle attack*

Hey, yeah. I'm sure it's easily fanxplainable but what has changed that wouldn't have caused DL and NJ to go after Linderman in the President Sylar timeline? Plus DL (and Isaac and boring girl) were in Peter's vision of blowing up, but I guess that doesn't really count.

Do we really know that for sure?

We've already seen Linderman bring a dead flower back to life & heal Nathan's wife. It would not be shocking if he has some regenerative powers & is able to heal himself as well.

Along those lines, I would not be shocked to find out that he had an affair with Mama Petrelli & is in fact Nathan's father, & therefore Claire's grandfather, which would explain her healing type ability and also explain how Mama Petrelli knew how important Claire was...

I don't recall Linderman even being mentioned in the "Five Years Gone" episode, which led me to believe he was dead. In fact, the company itself, as I recall, wasn't mentioned either.

What has me a bit curious - and I only started really watching about half way through the season - is whether or not Linderman was responsible for Sylar, or he only knows about Sylar and the explosion and was trying to position people after the inevitable happens.

Count me in on being disappointed when last week's cliffhanger was solved by a mere, "ha ha just kidding I'm fine." Then again, what kind of cliffhanger was that in the first place? Even if Claire shot Peter, all she'd have to do to bring him back to life is remove the bullet.

Was I the only one that forgot that Parkman saved Molly Walker way back in one of the first episodes of the season? Whoops!

Things I knew were going to happen in this episode before they happened:

1) Micah's role in Nathan winning the election: I knew about this WAAAAAY ahead of time. As in, in the first few minutes of the episode when Linderman told Nathan he never listens to polls. All of a sudden it all hit me: Micah, voting machines, shenanigans!

2) Linderman healing Mrs. Petrelli's paralysis: I figured this out right when he said he was going to give them both a gift.

3) Jessica turning on Linderman: The second she started talking I knew she wasn't going to take the money. Also, I just don't see how even Jessica could kill DL if he is expecting it.

Now the great thing about this show is that even though I foresaw all of these things happening, I absolutely LOVED this episode. The execution was amazing and was 100% fulfilling. I couldn't even possibly name all of the badass moments in this episode alone. HRG's gun blasts, Sylar's super-hearing, DL's SICK brain removal, etc. etc. etc. It just amazes me to think that this has only been the first season of this show. How on earth can they continue this awesomeness?

If I know anything, it's that New York won't get blown up.

Episode rocked, which is the norm for Heroes.

First off, if this has already been mentioned, please forgive me as I have only recently got into the show and watched 9 straight hours of episodes yesterday during the Sci Fi marathon to catch up. Again, if it has been mentioend, mybad.

I was just reading over on NBC's Heroes board and one of the posters mentioned how Sylar may survive because of some cockroach put in his system and it struck me that the symbol that shows up on Niki's back and on banners/walls everywhere resemble a cockroah. That's the first thing you hear Suresh teaching about in the first episode?

A stretch? Maybe.

Um, no offense, but why did you think that Linderman had brought Micah to New York in the first place? It had been pretty clear for a couple of weeks that they were going to use Micah to fix the election. I'm not sure they hadn't come out and said it.

They never stated it clearly, it was just fairly obvious so the viewer did have to put some effort to add things up there.

Gave myself a little mini Heroes marathon of the last two episodes to prep for the big finale tonight. A few observations I haven't seen anyone make yet:

What is it with this show and leaving bloody corpses on the floor for days and days? No one has cleaned up Issac in like three episodes. I mean, his corpse must be gathering flies and must stink to high Heaven, but people just hang out in his loft and ignore him. Now Sylar's mother is another corpse on the floor in her apartment. And add two more with Linderman and DL's corpses. No one on Heroes practices the rule on Lost island where if you kill someone, you're responsible for burying the body. It's just good form.

So Nathan's crippled wife comes home with their two sons while Claire is still living there and they never ran into each other? The Petrelli mansion seems big but it can't be that big. It's not like there's a Nathancave underneath the house for Claire to duck into. Claire and Peter weren't exactly skulking around. It didn't seem like Nathan ever mentioned his illegitimate daughter to his wife either. I wonder if Nathan has a butler: "I've seen a lot of strange things in this house, sir..."

Creepy Alert: When Micah figured out the shapeshifter wasn't his mom and made a break for it. Then she lures him back while wearing a towel and makes the creepy threat: "I could show you things that would screw you up for life." Me, I'd call that bluff but I'm not a ten year old.

I liked the part where Hiro finds Nathan on the street and then yells that he's a villain. With Hiro's accent, it sounded like "You are virile! Virile!" Nathan should have turned to the reporters with a grin: "Yes, it's true. This Japanese boy says I'm virile."

Fun dialogue where Claire considered going on patrol helping people in need while Peter frowned on the idea of wearing a costume with his underwear outside of his pants. I also liked the nuclear guy when they ran from Sylar. "Who's Sylar?"

So the shapeshifter waits until she's in the voting booth with Micah before she describes to Micah the plan where he has to interface with the network and change the votes for Nathan? Nor are they whispering or anything. Meanwhile they cut to an overhead shot and show the voting booths are incredibly cramped and there are people on either side of them. Yet of course the people on either side don't hear them. This is just one example of the rampant kind of stupid lack-of-attention-to-detail crap that I hate about this show.

When Jessica and DL showed up in Nathan's office, it's for the best DL didn't question why Nathan said that he didn't think he'd see her again. I mean, that may be Jessica in control of Niki's body, but it's still Niki's body he had sex with. A throwdown with DL in his office is the last thing Nathan needed right when he just won the election in a landslide. But what was the big mystery about where Linderman is? He's in his office building in "Kirby Plaza" where the security guard is named "Stan". Why didn't they check there first?

I'm still a detractor of this show but I'm curious to see how this whole thing shakes out tonight.
