forget Safeway, getcher butt to Giant...they ALWAYS have stuff 50% off this week Celeste pizza for 1, 5 for $5

The problem is Safeway's a block away, while Giant's a 15 minute train ride. Safeway's has the 5 for $5 pizza thing sometimes too.

I wondering how much Giant "marks up to mark down" to get that 50% savings.

I live closest to Giant and I must say their prices are a little high. Of course, the other markets: Safeway, Metro, Super Fresh are a drive so whatever the price difference, I figure I'd burn in gas.

I only know that I can change; everything else just stays the same.

the thing is, i only buy the stuff on sale...i've been on a tight budget soooo long it's recockulous.

the "normal" prices are comparable to safeways...

grab one of their weekly circulars, like out of the post's wednesday food, or sunday sections, and compare the prices, you'd be surprised...

i just can't wait until Ramen is on sale for 10 for a $1
no limit...yeah, it looks ghetto, but every buck i save is another buck towards rent...

Wait, so do you mean "with card" prices Safeway and Giant are the same,

OR

"without card" they are the same and "with card" Giant is a lot cheaper?

errr. what i meant was the the "no card" prices between safeway and giant are about the same (i shop at both places and only just got cards for both last year...but since giant is closer, same parking lot as my work, i go there...)

don't mind me...i'm trying to cut my diet mt. dew intake from a 12 pack a day to a 12 pack every other day...i've dropped from 4 liters a day down to a 12 pack, so i have been making progress...i should try to see if there's a guiness record i could break, because i was drinking enough to kill a horse...

Dude, you guys have the weirdest supermarket names I've ever heard of. We got Stop & Shop, Star Market, the odd Shaw's here and there, A&P, there's a Wild Harvest up Natick way, and if you wanna reach (like NY and ME reaching), IGA.

Personally, I can't abide generics most of the time. I have a sensitive palate. I gets me Coca Cola, fancy-pants Korean Ramen (it's round!), and REAL Hot Pockets. I'm gonna need a triple bypass by the time I hit 30.

Well Pieman, there's no rule about how you can't play it online: Click Here (games.asobrain.com) "Xplorers" (aka; Settlers with a different name). If any of you want to get a feel for how the game work works, this is a nice way to do it.
