This is interesting to me. When I lived in Miami, a guy who worked for Univision (I think it was Univision, anyways. It might have been Telemundo) told me that they would never run a show that featured a Cuban protagonist, because it wouldn't play to any of the other Hispanic markets.
whatever

Considering how 'The Unit' ended this season, I will be very interested to see how it returns. I was pretty well convinced the show was done from the ending.

Wasn't this cancelled by the WB about 2-3 years ago? Oh wait...

EDIT: IMDb (imdb.com) lists it as "Twilight", not Moonlight.

Maybe the guy from Moonlight can do a crossover with Keith Szarabajka's vampire hunter character from Angel.

Major bummer about Jericho being gone. It was my second-favorite show this year, behind Heroes.

Interesting that they put "Without a Trace" back in its original time slot by swapping it with "Shark." Since I'm sure this can't mean that they're admitting it was a boneheaded move to move out "Without a Trace," what DOES it mean? (More viewers for "Shark" by putting it on the most viewed night of the week! Naaaaah.)

I'll probably stop watching "Shark" next season just like I stopped watching "Without a Trace" THIS season. But, hey, I'll start watching "Without a Trace" again!

I wonder if they'll ever do a proper wrapup for "Jericho?"

Maybe I'm just a crazy know nothing on the Internet, but I can't see "Cane" doing any better in that cursed time slot than "Smith" or "3 lbs" did.

You just CANNOT end Jericho the way they did. I wasn't REALLY pissed off that it was canceled until today when I realized the episode that I thought was the next-to-last of the season was in fact the season finale.

For those of you not following the show, the last few episodes of the season (and, I guess, the series) revolved around an escalating feud between the towns of Jericho and nearby New Bern. By the end of the last episode, the federal government and the military were coming to Jericho looking for a stolen nuclear bomb, and Jericho and New Bern were ON THE BATTLEFIELD ready to engage in conflict. In fact, I believe the final line uttered on the show ever was, "Fire!!"

Sigh. I feel betrayed.

    10: "Numb3rs"

Yay. I hope they got some sort of budget increase, so I can stop playing "which two regulars are randomly missing from the episode this week?"

I'd normally be annoyed about Amazing Race not being back for 7-8 months, but I think we need some time apart.

Maybe I'll try watching the Unit. (Maybe I'll watch all of Heroes at once when it's on SciFi this weekend. Maybe I'll do none of these things and take a nap instead.)

I presume that's what the producers/writers of Jericho were hoping as well. CBS, not so much.

This is far from the first show this sort of thing has happened with, and you'd think networks would have started to figure out ways to handle it by now, rather than scorch Earth on these types of projects. I didn't think "Jericho" had a chance last year, and am glad I didn't waste my time.

Networks have started putting up unaired shows of canceled shows on the 'net, so they're aware of the issue. Maybe putting shows back into production for an unaired episode or two would cost too much, but even something as a simple podcast with the people in charge clearing where they thought plot threads were going would help out a lot. (This assumes the people in charge had some sort of idea where thing were going, which is never a sure bet.)

I was one of those who followed Jericho very closely at the beginning and lost track after the hiatus. I never watch CBS, and I think it falling off the schedule hurt, as I found it by accident when it premiered. Since I don't watch CBS on a regular basis, I never saw the promos saying it was back, so I just basically forgot about it until a few weeks back. I was lost, and thank God for On Demand, but I can see how these long hiatuses can hurt a show.

NCIS is easily the best show on tv that doesn't get any press coverage whatsoever... well, unless you get Mark Harmon threatening to quit unless the producer gets his act together that is.

Almost all of my friends say this show is like THE UNIT for old people, which scares me cause I don't want to be old.
