Apparantly Live Free Or Die is not to be confused with Live Free Or Die Hard, the fourth installment in the Die Hard series.

The trailers and focus of Blades of Glory has gotten so skewed over these past months. The first trailers were all about the main story of two skaters having to team up. Ferrall and Heder were on equal ground.

Then slowly Heder faded to the background as the studio apparently decided to just position it as a Ferrall movie first and foremost. Of course I understand this as Ferrall was coming off hit Talladega Nights and a well received somewhat independent film (Stranger Than Fiction) and Heder is coming off the flop School for Scoundrels (which I thought was pretty good actually). It was just a bit jarring to see the quick change in strategy.

Whatever...this movie will get killed by Meet the Robinsons anyways.

BTW, I would love to see Live Free or Die do big B.O. numbers with people thinking it WAS the next Die Hard movie.

Well, Heder looked like he was going to be the weak link anyway, so I'm okay with it. What shocks me is that I am probably the most biased Ferrell-lover there is, and I don't think anything from the Blades of Glory trailer has made me laugh as consistently hard as Robinsons' "I've got a big head, and little arms." Not that BoG doesn't have great, great lines, but the T-Rex line seems like an all time classic.

My main interest in Blades is Will Arnett, of whom I've seen relatively little in the trailers. Of course, I was one of the few who actually liked Let's Go to Prison, so my standards are probably kind of low anyway.

I've yet to like Jon Heder post-Napoleon. He seems to have essentially one expression and a stilted delivery that just leaves me flat. But I'll pretty much give any Will Ferrell movie a chance.

I wish I had a dollar for everytime my two kids have imitated and repeated that line from the commercial. They both want to see the movie just because of that one line.

Well, I obviously meant tot...oh who am I kidding? I was wrong. I didn't think a skating movie would appeal quite this much. I guess most people are really going to see Ferrell, no matter what he's in. This is coming from a fan, as I've liked all of his movies that I've seen. But this movie looked too hokey to me. Good for them.

I do see a bigger probable drop in the second weekend for Blades of Glory, since families are still going to be seeing MTR, while most of Ferrell's fan have now seen Blades of Glory.

Not what I heard. A lot of it had to do with general admission going into Bryan's line while not a lot of regular folk showed for Thursday with Cena. Punk had a bigger line than both which I believe since there was three to four different lines for Punk.
