I am enjoying seeing guys I've heard about but have never seen before: this week week, it was Scorpio Sky and Ruckus.
Sky brought 8x10 headshots and a plaque form high school, and had an alright match with Matt Sydal; not as good as Sydal's match with Jack Evans and also Lizzy Valentine's outfit was not as cute. Sky did a SWEET no-hands plancha, though.
Ruckus and his Keepin' It Gangsta partner Babi Slymm (who seems pretty lousy) beat That '70s Team by hanging Joey Ryan in the Tree of Woe, breaking a Disco Ball over his groin (!), placing a tiny stepladder over his face, and then Ruckus climbed up KiG's blinged out (!!) tall ladder and did a somersault Van Terminator into the tiny stepladder (!!!). Ruckus is fun.
The ending fell apart -- Human Tornado was "laid out" backstage by 6-Pac, so he didn't even get to wrestle! Then Pac's new buddy threw a fireball into Vampiro's face, but they edited it with weird blurs and special effects and it was really not awesome at all. And then Pac's new buddy's EYES GLOWED.
(Again, check out the excellent pre-censor fireball shot here (youtube.com).)
Afterward, I found out that Comcast On Demand has full episodes of WSX's internet show! So I got to see Human Tornado after all, taking on Luke Hawx and Puma in a triple threat. Yay!

Sydal impressed me with some nice moves: the corner clothesline through the ropes, the slingshot dropkick back in, that swank finisher, and that INCREDIBLE standing moonsault pin. That ... that was fantastic. WSX is embarrassing TNA for cruiserweight action.
