It is what it is, at this point. Not a bad show, not a great show, it was just there.
CM Punk goes to the Money in the Bank match now. He'll make that match really fun, but he's got no chance of winning. Between Punk and Edge, the MitB match is off to a great start.
The triple threat main event was decent. Hopefully, this ends Kennedy's involvement with ECW, because he deserves better. Maybe he can get in on the MitB match.
Why why WHY are they rehashing the La Resistance gimmick?! They were shoved down our throats enough the first time around; no one wants to take this ride again. But hey, between La Rez, the FBI, the Highlanders on Raw, and Regal & Taylor on SmackDown!, just about every country in Europe has a tag team representative. Where are my Spanish and German tag teams?

I enjoyed this show more than any ECW show since....well...who knows when. The RVD vs. Thorn match was much better than expected and the huge brawl going into commerical was awesome. Not only that, but I expected the match to be called so I was suprised when it continued. Also, very surprised to see RVd get a win. Lashley looked good in the main event. He might be good at WM23 as his match is bound to have a lot of extracurricular activity.
RVD/Thorn, Punk/Nitro, and the Triple Threat, pretty good night for ECW. The only thing I dont like about the new breed is that it's such a different group of guys, but they seem to be on the same page, so I suppose that's a start.
I know RVD probably unhappy with WWE, and is probably hightailing it out of there when his contract expires, but if the last 2 nights are any indication, maybe both sides can mend the fence and carry on their relationship, for the rest of the ECW existance, and so on. I really don't want to see him go to TNA.

I like the reformation of La Resistance, however, what are they going to fight for? Why not move them to RAW or Smackdown where they can be in the tag championship mix?

Solid show this week, IMO.
Don't worry. They're in ECW, meaning they'll end up challenging for one or both tag team belts on another show within the next month with little to no explanation.
I'm superpsyched about La Resistance because I've been waiting for two months for Conway to re-emerge on Smackdown. But now there's La Resistance and no Conway, gulp. A Conway'd La Res could be great opponents for Kendrick and London. But on ECW they should have a great tag program with uhhhhhh Xtreme Xpose.

It's part of his character evolution. After his first gimmick involved killing babies, now he has become one. I'm just curious to see if he can punt himself into the tenth row.
I don't know what is more disquieting -- the fact that the rest of the statue is missing, or that it has four toes.
That "fireman's carry into a knee to the teeth" thing? He needed a pin finisher, and hey, if Mick Foley can steal the Double Arm DDT from Kenta.........

I've seen other boards argue whether over it's a great thing ("CM PUNK!!!! He brought a Great Japanese finisher to the WWE!!!"), or a bad thing ("Even CM Punk has to steal finishers from other people!")
I don't think it really matters if he's using it or not, because it's not like KENTA (Kobayashi, not Kobashi, for anyone confused)will ever show up in WWE anyway.
Austin made the right move. Had he jumped at the chance to face Hogan, he would have been facing Hoagn in his return match in Canada and would have recieved the same reaction The Rock did.
