The closing bar scene where Roy's brother freaks out was probably the greatest moment, Jim getting played by his girl was alright too. Actually, there were a few more really good moments as well. Dwight however was just way to over the top this week and it kind of took away from the whole episode.

It's possible I've set the bar to high with this show. I still look forward to it every week and enjoy watching it, but it's been very hit and miss lately. I think it's mainly due to the inconsistencies of Michael and Dwight's characters

Oh man...my girlfriend almost cried laughing at the open.

Jim's reasons not wanting to go to the party were great, and Karen completely making him gullible was too.

I didn't expect Roy to take the news about Jim well, but I didn't expect him to take it that badly neither.

Poor Toby, all this effort to try and move in on Pam, and he's no better off now than when he started.

Jan is something else too...completely annoyed by Michael one moment, and basically trying to have her way with him the next.

"I'm going to kill Jim Halpert." Bad news for Jim.

Yeah, Jan is strange. I'm worried that if this kind of thing continues with her that it will become some sort of parody. The best I can gather is that she hates all the annoying things that Michael does, but they also make her very turned on as well.

I enjoyed Dwight in this one. His idea of a good time is checking the home out for defects?

One deleted scene on NBC.com this week: Oscar and Angela finally find something they can agree on.

I have to remember to try to catch the SNL this week.

Roy's scene, while realistic, was pretty jarring. Having an abusive meltdown really takes the air out of the show. A bit of humour was salvaged when Roy's brother just joined in on the carnage without even knowing what the problem was.

What happened to the woman Toby was seeing at Phyllis' wedding? Maybe he can hook up with Karen after Jim gives her the inevitable heave-ho.

I don't know what is more disquieting -- the fact that the rest of the statue is missing, or that it has four toes.

Remember gang, no new episodes for six weeks. But then? Nothing but new episodes until the hour-long season finale.

Kevin pegged her for an escort and I think he was right.

Double yikes.

We totally love Dwight in our apartment. The crazier he gets, the better it is. I haven't watched SNL in years, but there's a note taped to the side of my TV which says "Watch SNL this Saturday." My favorite line: "What do you know?" A friend of mine who (disturbingly) has more than a few of Dwight's quirks says that all the time, and it was delivered in the exact same tone. Excellent.

Pam's new attitude had us smiling a whole lot. Good to see her finally trying to live like a normal, well adjusted person (telling people how she feels and what she wants and all). She's become one of those TV characters that you just have to root for, especially after the art show. Too bad to see it all backfire with Roy going ape. This means we'll finally get some sort of movement forward in the Pam/Jim deal, so that's a big plus.

Ken Kennedy debuted a new finisher: Jeff Hardy fans will insist on calling it the Swanton Bomb, but it looks WAY more devastating when not performed by a 180-pound fruitcake.

Dwight was over the top with the whole house thing, but still funny at times. Him practically begging to smell Michael's breath was hilarious, though.

I enjoy how this show continues to not take itself too seriously. Roy's meltdown seemed a little too movie-of-the-week for a second, but after his brother grabbed a chair and joined in I was dying. That reaction does fit Roy's mindless brute character. In the end, I think he was more upset over the loss of the jet ski than Pam.

Jan's attraction to Michael's ignorance is great and creepy, it really adds to her character. Their scenes were great examples of the awkward, uncomfortable comedy that this show is known for, but has been lacking as of late.

Well, I felt like Michael was so annoying in the wedding episode that it wasn't very funny on any level, awkward or otherwise. At least in my opinion.

Yeah, for me, this show was pretty hard to watch. Although, the best lines for me were from Jan.

Jan: I am taking a calculated risk. What is the upside? I overcome my nausea, fall deeply in love, normal scene, no more self loathing. Downside? I date Michael Scott publicly and collapse onto myself like a dying star.

Jan: Why is this so hard? That's what she said... oh my God, what am I saying?
