- The Legend of Kage (NES, 1-2 players, 500 Points) - New Adventure Island (TG-16, 1 player, 600 Points) - Donkey Kong Country (Super NES, 1-2 players, 800 Points) - Streets of Rage (Sega Genesis, 1-2 players, 800 Points)
---
Nothing here I'll rush out and get, though I did enjoy Streets of Rage and Donkey Kong Country. And I hear Adventure Island is supposed to be fun. Maybe someday.
DKC is a game I've been aching to play again! I've played the sequels ad naseum, but I don't think I've run through the original since its initial release.
Streets of Rage is something I'll try out of curiosity, since I've heard nothing but good things about it and I never did play it because it was out on the Genesis (which I did not have).
The Wisdom of Homsar: AaAaAaAaAa! I'm the human wedgie!
DKC was a good game. Streets of Rage was probably one of the best of it's kind of the Genesis (side scrolling beat'm ups).
Another Supid SD Card Question for VC Titles: If I move VC games to the SD card, can move them to other Wii consoles or are they "wedded" to mine? Just worried if something happens to my Wii if the titles I downloaded will be lost or when they are transfered to the SD card if you can load them up on another.
To celebrate the passing of the Troll Amnesty (and for otherwise no reason at all), I present to you the very best of Trolling here on The W. This Troll Moment of the Week is brought to you by one of the greatest(?) Trolls to come The W;
"TopTenPro" , who brought us the following such pieces of wisdom as: br>TopTenPro: I know this is going to be banished, but there is a point I want to make. Why is there not a woman that wants to be loved as much as I want to love?"
CRZ: "Here now are the Top Ten cruel responses I could whip up to this post:" (followed by a rather funny list).
Streets of Rage 2 is one of my all-time favorite games, probably in my top 10. I don't think I've ever played the original though, but judging by some screenshots it looks similar to the sequel. I might just wait for SOR2 to get released, but it'll probably be a long while before Nintendo starts releasing sequels for the VC.
Streets of Rage 2 was a really good upgrade from Streets of Rage IMO. The original is harder and the graphics/players/moves aren't as good as Streets of Rage 2. That said, I'll probably pick up Streets of Rage.
I might pick up DKC. I played the shit out of it back in the day, but for only 6 bucks it's probably worth a buy. Anyone know much else about New Adventure Island? If it's good I'll probably get that as well.
"I'm one of the last cats, puttin the flavor back into rap"
I thought the original SoR was on the Master System. Am I wrong there? EDIT: Wikipedia says a port was released for the Master System, but it did indeed originate on the Genesis.
DKC is a definite buy. I'll pass on the others.

In other news, Nintendo's Japanese site has apparently confirmed that Neo-Geo games will be joining the VC lineup alongside games from the NES, SNES, N64, TG-16, and Genesis.
