My name is uncommon enough that I shouldn't have many problems with mistaken identity. Interestingly, even though this number is just based on how common your first name and last name are (and will give you ridiculous answers sometimes, like that there are 106 people named Mohammed Smith), I belive it's correct. Doing a Yahoo! People Search, I get one other person with my name, living in Minnesota.
Unoficially I'm unique. I know there is at least one other up in Canada, if Google is to be believed.

I was really curious to see how this would turn out. Both of my names are pretty common, but neither are spelled in the common ways ("Alen Hylton"). Since my first name has a few common spellings, I tried all of them with the more common spelling of my last name and I came up with a "rating" of 30-40 people with each variation.
This thing claims there are 0 of me in the States:
- There are 4,991,477 people in the U.S. with the first name James. - Statistically the 1st most popular first name. - 99.7 percent of people with the first name James are male. --- - There are 0 people in the U.S. with the last name Kalyn.
I know this isn't true because I found an American James Kalyn on Google. He plays the saxophone. My girlfriend's mom also found him on Google, and she now refuses to believe that I don't play the saxophone.
Yep, I'm a zero too. No hits at all with the last name.
I am really confused by this. Who are these people in my life that pretend to be my relatives with the same last name? More importantly, Who am I?
Now that I know that the name I've been using for about forever is in-fact not my name, I need to do some research.
I hope that I discover that I am actually a close quarters combat expert with an ultra cool tough guy name like Brandon Walsh (130 people). That would be cool.

Thankfully, I haven't had any problems with MVA because of my name, but now every three months they challenge me and say I don't have insurance on one of my four vehicles and require me to mail proof or pay a fine.
Thankfully Geico has a section for Maryland customers that keep getting bugged for an insurance compliance form. In the seven years I've owned vehicles, this past year is the only time I've ever been challenged by the state to prove I have car/bike insurance.
I know that one of me was the Police Chief of Lakewood, Co at a time in my life where that could have made things a bit inconvenient for me - glad I lived on the other side of Denver - and another is a personal injury lawyer in the greater New Orleans area - what a way to bring pride to the name
I'm Blind Jimmy Winthrop, Blues singer for the Rich.

I know a guy who raised $10,000 for St. Baldricks, but I think that's due in part to the fact his hair went past his shoulders and nobody could remember the last time he'd had a haircut.
