Just flippin after Raw, and caught the tail end of Super Bowl XIII with the Steelers and Cowboys. It's amazing to see vintage games like this shown in realtime, since most of the time you get the NFL Films version where they're all slowed down. It's an awesome concept, and I really wish they'd show more of the games in this format, and not the "NFL Films Presents Super Bowl ##". Gives people like me, who weren't around in the 70s, to get a true gauge of how the game was back then, and the relative speed of the players who played it...
Gonna have to Tivo what I can of the games they offer, I noticed in browsing they're gonna replay the Titans/Rams Super Bowl in it's entirety, Looking forward to it.

I'm still hoping to catch that Rams-Titans game. Can anyone remember a more emotional moment (one way or the other) than poor Kevin Dyson getting brought down at the 1 to end the game?

Looking at it NOT objectively, Vinatieri's FG against the Rams would have to be the #1 moment for me. By far.
Looking at it objectively, the 49ers-Bengals SB that ended with Montana-to-Taylor is my favorite one ever (non-Patriots, that is). I think even bigger than the Dyson moment was the Norwood kick.
Holy fuck shit motherfucker shit. Read comics. Fuck shit shit fuck shit I sold out when I did my job. Fuck fuck fuck shit fuck. Sorry had to do it....

I realize I was in St. Louis at the time, but no way a kick ever gets top billing over The Tackle. It was a kick, I mean come on. A man reaching out trying to strech with all he had while being pulled back by the defensive player right at the one yard line. Yeah waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay superior to any kick ever. Now for entire Superbowl game as a whole....probably the Pats/Rams was more exciting from start to finish cause the first half of Rams/Titans was slow.

And it's not like it was JUST a kick, there was the whole Rams comeback to tie and Brady's drive to set-up the field goal, too.
You are probably right, though. Even though it was the biggest sports moment of my life up to that point because the Patriots have been my team since I was a kid and hadn't won a Super Bowl yet, I probably should think the Tackle was a bigger moment. Thanks for correcting my emotions.
Who made that tackle, anyway? Was it MIKE Jones? Whatever happened to that guy?

If you take out the first 28 minutes, Patriots/Panthers was a pretty exciting game. However, from here through eternity it will be Wide Right Forever as the greatest Super Bowl. Matt Cavanaugh having to make a brief cameo as the Giants go down 12-3, only to rally by playing keep away from a team that had put up over half a hundred the week before against the Raiders. To shut down the vaunted 49ers offense going for a three-peat and then flying cross country, no bye, and surviving the K-Gun offense, that is a feat that might never be matched again. Since the 49ers bludgeoning of the Chargers, the Super Bowl has shifted though from where you expected a massacre and were shocked by a competitive game to where the massacre is now the shocker. I guess the salary cap is good for something.

The whole thing is a joke. The NFL couldn't have handled everything worse if they tried. I'm not real happy about Kraft hanging Brady out to dry either.
