Okay, gang, we know that wrestling has been going steadily downward since...well, since the WCW sale. What do we do? We need ideas? I got one...
------------------------------------------------------

Scene: A hotel room. The sun is just rising over the horizon. Vince McMahon wakes in his bed. He gets up and stretches. But the shower is on. He walks into the bathroom to investigate... The shower door opens... It's... It's...
BRET HART! "Good morning!"

OR...

"Sherman, set the WayBack machine for 1997..."
"Sure thing, Mr. Peabody!"
"Quiet, you!"

Holden: Judging by the buzz, that movie's gonna make some serious bank.
Jay: What buzz?

I think an obvious option is to get rid of the dead weight. You need team players to make a good federation, so this power play deal that Steve Austin has going on has to stop. Hulk Hogan and the Undertaker seem to be working their asses off right now, so they are good, but Hogan can't hold the belt for much longer. Develop some credible monster heels. Turn the nWo into the monster heels they should have been by having the Big Show destroy Austin and Flair. Turn Booker face. Get Triple-H to play with the team, get Jericho over him to have another solid new main eventer. Continue the Edge push. Get serious about the cruiserweight division. Get the Tag Team division together and make the Tag Champs defend against both brands, like the world title. Less comedy, more wrestling. With the Rock gone, there is a chance to show off lots of underrated talent, so do it!
My 2 cents. More later...

It seems I've been doing these 'save WWF' fantasy booking plots for quite a while. Well fuck it, I'm bored enough.

Here's what I think is the main thing that the writers have done wrong and if Russo and Ferrara and Banks were rehired as I think they should be, this is what I hope they'd address first.

The Identity Crisis.

I always hear marks saying how it's not the WWF anymore, it's just WCW and ECW and it sucks. Now it literally isn't the WWF anymore, it's the WWE. I've never felt more optimistic about the product than the night after Survivor Series when all of the Invasion guys were gone, it just felt right. It felt like it was the WWF again.

All they should do is go back to that and just work fire all the guys who were in the Invasion, including RVD and Tazz and The Dudley Boys, but not Test and Angle and Austin of course. Don't fire Regal or Haku either because Regal wasn't a WCW guy when he came in and Haku was an old WWF guy, but everybody else. GIVE 'EM THE ASS.

Temporarily. But make it stick at least six months or so. Fuck the split, just drop it, there's not enough talent for it really. You've got your Val Venis's and your Dlo's and your Goldust's to bring back from the 98/99 period and suddenly you've got a pretty good and very discernible 'WWF' product.

Now to the fantasy booking.

I can't think of one more curious and mind boggling thing in wrestling than what's happened to HHH. HHH was this heel and the champ and goddamned everyone was on their feet saying this guy has turned into the best heel in years and one of the best champs ever. So what do they do? They take the belt off him and never give it back until he's a very weak face.

It's a pretty easy sum, just turn HHH on your top faces and give him the belt. Presto.

But that's the biggest and most important factor. You've got to have a top face that any man walking down the street could be stopped and could tell you who he was. The top face is what your show is about, he's Indiana Jones, he's Luke Skywalker, he's the star. There shouldn't be any damn doubt about who the top dog is. And there surely can be no question that that man is Stone Cold Steve Austin.

So that means that the show should be built all around the trials and tribulations of Stone Cold Steve Austin. His main adversary being HHH.

Now underneath him, you'd have Hulk Hogan on his nostalgia ride, the underdog, the old guy, you could easily have Shawn Michaels in a similar role, you've got Chris Jericho as the cheating, cowardly heel. With Undertaker and Ric Flair you've got a lot of guys who can pass the torch and a great cutting edge top of the line upper card in the trio of Austin, HHH and Jericho.

Those are the top stars of the show.

1. Austin
2. HHH
3. Jericho

This is of course presuming that Rock is now part time and basically can't be considered for any serious long term role. Below these guys your main draws are:

4. Undertaker
5. Hulk Hogan
6. Shawn Michaels
7. Ric Flair

All of which can be rotated with the top three forever. But of course the problem is that no matter how well booked something is, people want something new after awhile, which some people might argue is the main problem facing the WWF at the moment. Even what I've suggested still has the same guys at the top. Well that's because they are the top guys and they are the ones with everything that you need to draw at the top level, but the most pressing issue has to be: How long can Steve Austin draw?

I wholeheartedly believe that there doesn't have to be a major lull or any kind of cycle. The Bret Hart/HBK era should have been the Bret Hart/HBK era. It should have been entirely built around them and their type of characters instead of trading on the past and trying to find a new Hogan.

I think that Chris Benoit is the next Bret Hart.

He will be the guy who won't ever draw as much money as Steve Austin just like Bret could never under any circumstances have been expected to have drawn as much as Hulk Hogan, but who can keep the company going strong with a respected and loved top star of such a different style to the previous champ that he makes you forget about the past. He bridges the business towards the next revolutionaries.

So Chris Benoit has to be readied for a major push in the next two years. When he finally goes over though, it shouldn't mirror Bret Hart's tentative push, it should be in exactly the same way as Steve Austin got over - with the top star.

Steve Austin has to get Chris Benoit over enough that Benoit can at least adequately fill his shoes.

The rest of the undercard of real importance I think should include Regal and Tazz, once he's brought back in. Tazz is a guy who could draw with guys like Jericho, Benoit and HHH. Sure he's not gonna draw with big guys like Undertaker and Hogan, but the next era's going to be smaller and he's got it all.

So that's about it.

Tell me you did not just say that ...

You want to fire the two most interesting midcarders in the company (Booker T. and RVD) to make room for Regal and Haku? Why would you do that? Even if was just for 6 months.

What I'd do to save the WWF:

Rock is dead, live with it, just write all of your stories like he's not in the company. If he comes back, and will be back for more than 3 months, write him in, otherwise forget him.

Trim the fat, Hall is gone, get rid of Nash, Big Slow, X-pac, Rikishi, Haku, ect ...

De-elevate Taker ASAP, use him to put over younger guys.

Get the belt off of Hogan and drop him.

Sign Goldberg, he has money matches with just about every top WWF star.

Put the two "shows" back together, Austin, HHH, Angle, Benoit (upon his return Jericho, and Goldberg, should be the main evetners.

Booker T., RVD, Edge, Kane (when he returns), Eddy G., Lesnar, Raven, Tazz, and Regal should be at the top of the mid card. Given chances to work with the main eventers.

Push the Cruiser Division, keep them apart from the Heavies, Tajiri, Kidman, Hurrican, Christain, ect ...

Have the tag division come back. You have the Hardyz, reunite the Duds, C&B, bring in new teams like the SATS, Jindrak & O'Hare, the Impact Players.

As for the rest, move them in and out of the Euro title picture, see who catches on, and who doesn't, if someone makes an impact, elevate them. And DROP THE HARDCORE DIVISION!

That is all.

Keep your fingers crossed and wish on a few shooting stars...

Because in order for the WWE to really worry about their product, they need to be worried about how their shares on the stock market look. Right now, they're doing better on the market than they were one year ago.

Thus, seeing as how their profit margin has actually risen, what reason does Vinnie Mac have to change anything?

If you're dissatisfied with what wrestling on TV has to offer, don't fucking waste everybody's time bitching and moaning. We all hate the PTC because of their stubborn refusal to change the channel when they see something they don't like...

Personally, I don't mind the WWF product right now. Then again, I'm not an avid smark, nor do I claim to be. Granted, internet fans might catch a grain or two every so often of what's going on backstage, but look at it this way.

Almost every website, ranging from the Torch to even Online Onslaught, will always say "a source" told them such and such, or "a source" had this to say. You know who else uses that kind of jargon? Supermarket Tabloids. Spooky, ain't it?

Long and short though: If you don't think it's good, don't watch. If you want to help, apply to write for them, and if they do hire you, god help you from the ridicule and torment of your own contemporaries.

Constructive criticism is one thing, but quotes like:

"It seems I've been doing these 'save WWF' fantasy booking plots for quite a while. Well fuck it, I'm bored enough."

Really doesn't sound like there's any criticism, but blatent rewriting of everything. That's like you're saying "If I was Mick Jagger, I would have stopped making music, and thus stop making money by milking the cash cow that is the music industry." You wouldn't have the integrity, and nor does Mick. Money is an awesome force to be reckoned with, and more than likely it's power will launch California off into the Pacifac rather than an earthquake.

GOD I HATE FANTASY BOOKING!

Well you asked how to improve the WWE...here goes:

1) Quit showing "Moments Ago" vignettes. Those were useful when Nitro was on the other channel and I was switching back and forth but now they just piss me off. I JUST SAW WHAT HAPPENED!!! I don't need to see it again.

2) Less backstage vignettes, more interviews/interaction in the ring.

3) Abort the NWO.

4) Do not try to reform any old stables such as the Horsemen for long term storylines. The past is exactly what it is....the past. A one time reformation would be cool, but that's it. I'm thinking of the Flair-Taker Wrestlemania match that was no DQ. If Malenko, Benoit, Anderson and Flair stomped the hell out of Taker after the match...that would have been cool. But kill it after that point.

5) Throw NEW storylines into the mix. Do not copy old storylines that have been played out such as "fill in the blank owner" vs. Austin.

6) Oficially make the Intercontinental Championship Belt "The RAW Championship Title" and the European Championship "The Smackdown Title." Have those belts defended exclusively on those programs and PPV. Abandon the Hardcore Title. Crusierweight Title defenses will occur exclusively on Heat or other secondary shows. The Cruiserweight Champ will appear on which ever roster he's assigned to, but will not defend the belt in prime time.

7) Do not punish wrestlers for backstage behavior through losses which cost them their heat. Fine them lots of money.

8) Make sure every story has some degree of logic to it.

9) Listen to the audience. If mainstream fans are just starting to warm up to Booker as a face, don't turn him heel. If fans are legitimately popping for RVD or Lesnar, push them to the moon. A well scripted RVD-Lesnar program would draw ratings. Think about it....Heyman trying to form a heel stable, RVD turns him down...instant program.

10) There is no other established high profile company for your talent to jump to. If a star doesn't want to do the job, or sell for the opponent...hand out pink slips. If two or three people got canned for that, the rest of the troops will fall into line.

OK, I really, really like those, here are a couple more from me:

- Create something like Piper's Pit on Raw (I choose Austin's Alley) and have the hell-face (Both Piper and Austin do that nicely) have interviews and beatdowns. Occasionally put these feuds in the ring. Austin needs something besides his 4-5 spots and the Whats. Regal could work this bit as well. Tone down the rest of the viginettes and put them in Lord Regal's Lair or whatever.

- Make me care about the same old stories. I like the heels beating and cheating. But I gotta care. Draw it out and make it work. I bet we care when Benoit and Kane come back. Take a lesson. Take someone off TV for a couple weeks...

I have only one suggestion (a prayer, really), but I can definitely say that, if taken, the product will FOR ME improve 1,000% immediately.

Have Austin CEASE AND DESIST with his ridiculous "What?" promos. ("You think I'm scared? You think I'm frightened? Shaking in my boots? Crying like a girl? Like a baby? Is that what you think?", ad nauseum)

Whenever he starts that, I hit the remote, often never to return. Enough!

Where the hell do you get off????? If we have a problem with the current drek that's being pushed on us, it's our right as consumers to voice our opinions! Screw you for painting everyone with same brush, calling us all jaded smarks and demanding that we be passive sheep. I'll criticize shitty, nonsensical booking as much as I want. But if you're happy with crap television like Monday's RAW, by all means turn off the computer and go re-watch the tape. Please.

You don't think criticism works? Go watch the new Star Wars movie and see how long Jar-Jar Binks is on-screen this time around.

Bottom line - if you don't like "fantasy booking," don't open up threads with titles like "We need to save the WWF."

What's the point of that? You'd be basically burying the division. Heat & the other secondary shows only get a fraction of the audience for Raw or Smackdown, so making CW Title defenses exclusive to those shows would be counter-productive to pushing the division. The people you want to get interested in the CW's are the casual fans, and I would bet at least 95% of them don't even watch the secondary shows.

Really, the best thing they could do is to get someone jsut for quality control on the booking staff. Basically, someone who's equivalent to a copy editor: Check all the storylines for continuity issues, and make sure everything makes sense. This would have killed half of the storylines, but is that really a bad thing?

Ok, I have a radical suggestion:

In a bizarre kind of way briging back true jobbers might not be a bad thing. That way, two "non jobbers" fighting might mean something. The NWA/WCW on TBS at 6:05 brought in respectable ratings for its timeslot for years with those types of matches. I don't think the shows should have exclusively squashes either but a combination might not be bad.

Let's say you have 6 matches per show and I'm pulling these out of my ass with NO consideration to booking or injuries...just trying to make a point.

Match 1 squash (Popular wrestler to hook viewers)
RVD vs. Jabroni.

Match 2 "High profile Match"
Undertaker vs. Bubba Ray Dudley. Bubba loses but gets in offense on a legend.

Match 3 squash
Crash Holly (he needs some value built so when he gets beat by an established superstar it means something) over Jabroni

Match 4 "High Profile Match"
Brock Lesnar vs. Kane. Sports entertainment finish as the fight goes to the outside after 8 minutes of both no selling and in to the back. The point is made that a traditional ring can't hold these two.

Interview segment- Trish gets an interview segment and interviews Tommy Dreamer. Tommy pulls his Tom Green act to try and impress her. When it doesn't work, he goes on a tirade about how he is the king of extreme and threatens her until Bradshaw scares him away.

Match 5 "Squash"
"RAW Tag Team Chaampions" The Hardyzzzzz over jabroni 1 and 2 in a non title match

Match 6 Spike Dudley and D'Lo Brown vs Regal and Guerrero.

The idea is in the squashes the "non jobbers" can display about 10 to 12 signature spots and their finishers. The 6th match should be built up throughout the card through a couple of backstage interviews or highlight packages. Spike and Regal have an issue over Molly. D'Lo and Guerrero have an issue over bragging rights regarding the European title. This 6th mainevent match should always do 3 things

-go at least 15 minutes of the show
-be the last match of the show
-build towards a PPV encounter due to the outcome. For example, assume Guerrero says if D'Lo pins him in the tag match that hewill gain a shot at the title. Assume D'Lo has Guerrero beat, but Spike get distracted with Molly. The ref focuses on this, and Regal cheapshots D'Lo which allows Guerrero to get the pin. D'Lo claims that Regal cost him his title shot and the match is made between the two of them at the PPV.

The announcers should mention 2 times during the show that next week, Austin, the NWO and Bradshaw will all be wrestling so fans of those advertised will tune in.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading my babbling.

You're correct Spaceman. I miswrote. In reference to the Crusierweight Champ, what I meant to say is he will wrestle on primetime but only defend his belt on lesser shows AND PPV. He can get some quality wins over bigger men in non title matches on his assigned program (which a large audience will see), and defend only on PPV. If the ratings indicate that crusierweights are clicking, I would split the title into two, with one being assigned to each program. I'm trying to keep the number of belts constant on each show. Also, I would create separate tag team championships for each program as well.

This brings up an interesting possibility...interpromotional Wargames for one PPV a year. The Three Raw Champs and 2 partners vs. The Three Smackdown Champs and 2 partners utilizing the old Wargames format....just a thought.

Also, I understand your concern about Mr. Holly. But if Crash is seen as someone who gets an occasional win (and I don't mean the Hardcore crapfest) it will build his value. If he had been booked as a Mikey Whipwreck type, your perspective might be different. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just saying that there are people on the roster who could be built up by getting some wins every now and then. A JTTS's value will be raised if he actually beats some jobbers.

And why is he perceived as such? Because he ALWAYS LOSES. If a wrestler loses every serious match he's in (Hardcore Title matches don't count), fans will automatically believe that he will lose *any* match he's in. If he manages to beat a few lower-rung wrestlers, then the fans will believe that he *could* beat a mid-carder (if not a headliner), thus making him more interesting.

The JTTS has a stake in this as well, courtesy of merchandising. If he's perceived as a joke, no one will buy the merchandise of a perpetual loser. But, if he's perceived as a closet threat, he may gain at least a T-shirt - and a share of the take, if his contract allows. That's money in his pocket - and I'm sure that the lower-rung wrestlers would appreciate a little more green in their wallets.

Okay, here's a more in-depth solution which borders on fantasy booking. I'll try to be general, just as a matter of space.

At a future PPV (say, something meaningless between KotR and Summerslam), tensions start to build between wrestlers on opposing brands. Say, it starts with a post-match attack after a cruiserweight title match by X-Pac. On Raw the next night, Flair denounces the attack. Then, say, X-Pac attacks the cruiserweight champ on the next Smackdown. This, as you would guess, is supposed to merit an automatic suspension. However, Flair doesn't suspend him, due to his NWO affiliation. Vince gets pissed and sends one of his heels over to attack someone on Raw, etc. The detente between Raw and SD is officially broken, and neither side seems too worried about sanctions. After all, what's Linda going to do?

By the next PPV, the announcers start to play up the tension between the two sides, and eventually, a match scheduled for Heat never gets to take place because of a full-scale riot between the two rosters (of course, not involving anyone who has a PPV match). They eventually brawl throughout the building, isolating themselves somewhere backstage. During a couple of matches, the competitors seem a little distracted and wary of the riot, but the PPV goes on as planned... until just before the main event. Linda gets on the screen and announces that everyone in the riot's been arrested, and that she will do something to stop this immediately. Vince and Flair are told to show up for both Raw and Smackdown, because she has an announcement or two that should stop this nonsense. The main event goes on as planned, though.

Next night, on Raw, she announces that she obviously cannot trust Vince and Flair to handle their own issues, and so therefore she's appointing a new VP of Wrestling Operations: Bret Hart. Vince proceeds to crap himself (not literally, of course). Bret announces that he will announce some changes to the PPV schedule and titles on Smackdown. Flair gets mad and screams about how he can't work with someone like Bret, which causes Bret to announce that his first act as VP is that because he's tired of both Flair and Vince getting in the ring and making a mockery of his sport, so neither owner is allowed to wrestle. Ever. He also says that no one is allowed to jump shows, and if anyone does, they'll be indefinitely suspended by his office. He's in charge of anything related to what happens in the ring beyond the jurisdiction if the individual brands.

On Smackdown, Bret announces the new PPV schedule. Since he believes that familiarity breeds contempt, he's limiting the cross-promotional PPV's to just six, which will be rescheduled as necessary:

* Royal Rumble (January)
* Wrestlemania (March)
* King of the Ring (May)
* Summerslam (July)
* Night of Champions (September) (This might change.)
* Survivor Series (November)

In these PPV's, the following stipulations will be in effect.

* Royal Rumble: Only cross-promotional match will be the Rumble itself. Winner gets an Undisputed title shot.

* Wrestlemania: All cross-promotional matches.

* King of the Ring: Each side makes up one side of the bracket, with the quarterfinals to the finals on PPV. Winner gets to jump shows for a year.

* Night of Champions: All champions fight each other. (If this name changes, so does the gimmick.) Winner of the Intercontinental/US champion match gets an Undisputed Championship shot at Survivor Series.

* Survivor Series: Each roster puts teams up against each other, old-school Survivor Series rules.

The other six PPV's will alternate between rosters, starting with Raw getting No Way Out. The rotation alternates every year, as well, so Smackdown starts off with No Way Out next year.

Since this keeps the secondary titles away from both sides, the following champions may defend on both shows:

* Undisputed
* Tag Team
* Women's
* Cruiserweight

He is also reinstating the US and TV titles, assigning them to whatever roster doesn't have the Intercontinental and European titles, respectively. Hardcore title goes byebye, since Bret doesn't really respect it as a wrestling art form. Those titles will be decided on the next PPV.

Any suggestions? I'm not exactly a fan of fantasy booking, but I figured I'd give it a shot in this case.

My two cents:

Declining attendance and declining ratings point to both a draw and entertainment problem. Instead of fantasy booking, here are some broader strategic ideas:

Emphasize the importance of championships. Give away plausible title matches on free TV and at house shows once in a while.

Emphasize rivalries. What if you could watch Magic’s Lakers and Bird’s Celtics battle one more time? That was Flair/Hogan on Raw. Last minute booking could be done when necessary by pitting rivals against each other. The audience would not need a half-concocted story about why a match was taking place if they knew rivals were going to battle.

When the Raw/SD brands are unbalanced, borrow from real-life sports to create contract/free agent issues.

Consider professional actors for non-wrestling roles. There are plenty of struggling actors who would gladly accept a role as a manager or agent or Japanese shampoo executives. Roles could be one-time or recurring. The “entertainment” aspect of sports entertainment would be better enhanced many times by a professional thespian to help get an angle over than by a grappler who struggles to put the necessary emotion into delivering lines.

Use an editor. As has been said in above posts, someone has got to have the authority to say, “this doesn’t make sense”. The fringe audience will tune in to the product if the storylines are appealing and advance on some rational plane.

Build stars. If Shaq were to retire from the Lakers, the team would still have Kobe on which to market themselves. When Jordan leaves the Wizards, they’ve got zip. The Rock is gone from full-time work. He was the Fed’s biggest draw. The talent exists on the roster currently to elevate entertaining wrestlers into potential draws. Use declining stars to put up-and-comers over and give them plausible storylines on which to build their character for the long term. Some will fail, but one or two may find a surge of popular support that won’t stop until they are headlining.

I think that is a huge part of the problem. You just can’t introduce 30 new guys simultaneously and give them any kind of push. They all end up looking weak and the casual fan says “These new guys suck. Where is Austin?” Of course making all these guys Austin’s bitches didn’t make for a very threatening “invasion” and the whole group looked like a bunch of flunkies. Now they have to try to make us think that these guys are good. For example, do you think any casual fan thinks Booker T is a good wrestler? They think he is that he is the tard from the short bus that does the stupid spinaroonie thing.

Splitting the roster helped but I am afraid that there are guys that will just never get over because the Invasion failure has doomed them to permanent Jakked (or whatever the hell they are calling it now) status. Add the fact that they seem to be introducing someone new on every show and they are going to have to start chopping heads sometime.

Okay, I figured out a simple solution...

SAMPLE SMACKDOWN
-Opening Pyro/Hype for show
-Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr.
-The Rock attacked by Triple H backstage [they have a match at the PPV]
~COMMERCIALS~
-As we come back, announcers go "Hey, Triple H is bad!"
-Al Snow & Maven vs. Kidman/Hurricane
-Announcers discuss upcoming PPV...
-But they're interrupted by a furious The Rock! He comes out and cuts a promo on Triple H, but he's interrupted by Triple H and his friend, Chris Benoit. Triple H sez he hates The Rock, and can't wait to beat him at PPV...but he wants a piece of him right now! HHH & Benoit rush the ring to attack Rock, but out of nowhere Kurt Angle comes from backstage and saves The Rock. Instant main event tag match, Rock & Angle vs. HHH & Benoit!
~COMMERCIALS~
-Main event hype
-Christian vs. Randy Orton
~Hype for PPV
~COMMERCIALS~
-Ivory vs. Torrie (I Guess...)
-More main event hype
-Deacon Bautista vs. Saturn
~COMMERCIALS~
-SUB SHOW B STARTS
-Backstage hype for Main Event Angle B (with Edge facing ex-partner Lance Storm). Tonight, Edge faces Albert with Storm as referee!
-Faarooq vs. Test
-Backstage hype! Main Event Angle B Match is next!
~COMMERCIALS~
-Main event hype; backstage vignette for Holly vs. Tajiri
-Edge vs. Albert w/Lance Storm as ref
-Main Event hype!
~COMMERCIALS~
-Hardcore Holly vs. Tajiri
-Hype! Main event is next!!
-COMMERCIALS~ 5 min
-The Rock/Kurt Angle vs. Triple H/Chris Benoit;
sets up Angle/Benoit at PPV, adds fuel to HHH/Rock match

Bottom Line: EVERYTHING LEADS TO MATCHES. Matches right now, and at the PPV! But never give them the straight A vs. B, you gotta save that for when they pay! And notice how many matches? Nine matches, total estimated wrestling time's at about 72 minutes of wrestling. In a 120 minute show. How's *THAT* for wrestling entertainment? Let's fill in the blanks a bit...

SAMPLE SHOW
-Opening Pyro/Hype for show (1 min)
-Opening Cruiserweight Match, right afterwards (5-7 min)
-Wrestler A attacked by Wrestler B backstage [they have a match at the PPV] 2 min
~COMMERCIALS~ 4 min
-As we come back, announcers go "Hey, Wrestler B is bad!"
-Tag Team Match (5-6 min)
-Announcers discuss upcoming PPV... (1 min)
-But they're interrupted by a furious Wrestler A! He comes out and cuts a promo on Wrestler B, but he's interrupted by Wrestler B and his friend, Wrestler C. Wrestler B sez he hates Wrestler A, and can't wait to beat him at PPV...but he wants a piece of him right now! B & C rush the ring to attack A, but out of nowhere Wrestler D comes from backstage and saves Wrestler A. Instant main event tag match, A & D vs. B & C! (10 min)
~COMMERCIALS~ 4 min
-Main event hype (30 seconds)
-Upper Midcard Match [IC Title contenders] (6-7 min)
~Hype for PPV (1 min or less)
~COMMERCIALS~ 4 min
-Non T&A Women's Match (4 min or less)
-More main event hype (45 sec-1 min)
-Hardcore Match (4-5 min or less)
~COMMERCIALS~ 4 min
-SUB SHOW B STARTS (1 hour mark, about)
-Backstage hype for Main Event Angle B (with Wrestler E facing ex-partner Wrestler F). Tonight, E faces G with F as referee! (1 min)
-Midcard Match (6-7 min or less) [Euro Title]
-Backstage hype! Main Event Angle B Match is next!
~COMMERCIALS~ 4 min
-Main event hype; backstage vignette for midcard angle/match
-Main Event Angle B Match (E vs. G w/F as ref) (8-10 min)
-Main Event hype! (less than 1 min)
~COMMERCIALS~ 4 min
-Midcard Match (more Euro/IC guys) (4-5 min)
-Hype! Main event is next!!
-COMMERCIALS~ 5 min
-Main Event (TV Time Remaining, adds heat to A vs. B, and sets up C vs. D for PPV, too!)
