- Horrible Lashley promo that nearly went off the rails.
- I THINK Renee Dupree's fake French accent went away.
- Bob Holly has a new awesome catchphrase.
- Brad Armstrong: Southern Color Commentator.
- Striker over Mahoney.
- Punk and Holly in the 3 minute submission challenge.
- Test wins a Triple Threat match but Van Dam gets the all important internet vote and has a match with Lashley marred by interference from Test in two weeks.
Oh..
and Tommy Dreamer took the most fucked up bump I've seen in forever by taking a tree slam on the steps from Khali.
Not all that different from the Heyman era though way more southern and now with 50 percent more Armstrong.

Agreed - that was just sick. It's been a while since I saw something that looked like it hurt that much. Tazz's commentary, during what seemed like the 20 minutes it took the "paramedics" to get a backboard for dreamer, were perfect. "I've known Tommy for a long time, he was even a best man at my wedding, but Tommy's shown many times he has more guts than brains..."
Test's Wotsitalla boot to RVD after the match was one of his better ones.
The only 2 highlights for me on a week I actually got to see most of the show.
Next week is it even more highlights from Iraq? On both Raw and ECW?
Not that it wasn't a pretty brutal bump, but I found it awful hard to buy that as a "career-ending" moment for Tommy when I've seen him fall like thirty feet through a stack of tables. Other than that, not much to see this week. I do wish they'd move Striker back to one of the main shows - I think he'd be perfect on Smackdown - because he is totally awesome.

Almost as bad as Rikishi's "Hickory dickory dock" to break his silence.
I only saw parts of the show. I saw Lashley put away Renee, and Holly go over Punk pretty decisively. That was surprising. It also made Punk look reliant on the Vice as his only move.
The Striker match had two nice things bout it: Brad's understated delivery, and Striker's new Golden Rule finisher, a move he can credibly slap on anybody.

What a train wreck Lashley was. You could see the exact moment his rehearsed lines went *poof* in his mind.
In fairness to Punk, the idea was to make Holly submit in 3 minutes or less. Hence, he was relying on the vice as a submission move. Myself, I would have imagined that he should have beat on Holly to weaken him somewhat, but oh well. I was surprised how Holly went over too, but I guess if you want to preserve the singles win streak then you have to get creative.
