For all of the (justifiable) bellyaching over Scorsese not having an Oscar, it's equally ridiculous that Altman was not honoured. Prairie Home Companion was a fittingly wonderful note to go out on. RIP, Robert Altman

I wasn't particularly partial to his work, especially the stuff that got major recognition (i.e., M*A*S*H*), but he was a significant voice in film history. I did enjoy McCabe and Mrs. Miller, mostly because of his crazy inovative use of sound recording and mixing in it.
Ah, I miss Cleveland's racial humor on this show. I'm a little surprised that FG's already starting to recycle material. I liked this better when it was Lois learning martial arts. But I forgave this one when I saw where they were going with it.
