I *have* Sunday Ticket and I wholeheartedly approve as well. I get NFLST specifically so I don't have to miss any Seahawks games since I live across the country from the Seattle urea and grew up sometimes not knowing their scores until Howard Cosell told me during halftime of the Monday Night game (plus, it doesn't hurt my fantasy knowledge). I say, put the best games on national tv and let diehards get the Ticket so they don't have to miss their team.

Meanwhile, ESPN's Monday Night Football schedule looks mediocre at best for the rest of the season. And ESPN is paying nearly twice as much NBC for the rights. The boys in Bristol kind of got boned over on this one, though I can see the logic in the NFL not wanting to reschedule a game by a whole day.
"I don't know what is more disquieting -- the fact that the rest of the statue is missing, or that it has four toes."
Now that Donovan McNabb's out for the season, think NBC wishes they could have had this choice back?
"That's the thing: Maybe he'll be up and down this season, but when he's up, is there another center in the league quite like him? He protects the rim, passes out of double teams, has great hands around the basket, up-fakes on his jump-hooks, rebounds in traffic, even has a motor that keeps going and going (unlike a stiff like Eddy Curry). I'm not sure what's missing here. This is stunning. This is startling. There's almost no precedent for it. Just what the Lakers needed: More obscenely good luck. Meanwhile, I have to watch Al Jefferson whip jump-hooks off the front of the rim for the third straight season. I will now pour scalding hot water down my pants." -Bill Simmons on Andrew Bynum (11/08/06)
Still think it's so odd that the WWE would schedule the Royal Rumble on the same day as the conference championships. I also think it'll be Pats/Cards.
