Okay, I know it's a long shot, but some friends at work and I have been discussing the feint possibility of the Jets making the playoffs considering they beat New England.
Can somebody wake me up with some better facts?
Hold nothing sacred and you'll never be dissapointed. Especially not this statement.
Hey, I'm still in the "You know, the Packers have a shot at the #6 seed in the NFC" ballpark, so what the hell, bring on the Jets. They'll get a lot of help if Jacksonville and Kansas City keep losing games to crap teams.
"I don't know what is more disquieting -- the fact that the rest of the statue is missing, or that it has four toes."
The Jets are 5-4, they face Chicago (probable loss) this week, and then Houston, Green Bay, Buffalo, Minnesota, Miami, and Oakland. As the Jets themselves helped prove this week, this season has been upset-tastic at times, but I wouldn't say its out of reach for them to go 5-1 over that stretch to finish 10-6 and in wildcard contention.
You believe me, don't you? Please believe what I just said...
I'm not going into that sort of detail, but GO RAIDERS! This has been such an exciting week, with an actual silver an black super bowl looming for the first time since I was only 12. I can not wait for Sunday.
