Nope. Canadian.

I voted in the mayoral elections we had the other week, though.

Yeah, I have my absentee ballot ready to be dropped off. We have no polling places here at all anymore.

I will happily admit that I am not voting. I have been so busy with work and things that I couldn't tell you, for example, what I-933 will do, good or bad, so I think it's best if I keep my ignorance to myself. To me, being able to say "I voted" doesn't make you a patriot if you don't know what you're voting about.

I voted at 7:30 this morning and I'm still wearing that dumb sticker.

Too bad California doesn't really have any kind of impact on the national scene playing out today, though.

I voted on Friday. The most important issues (i.e. the ones for which my vote may actually make a real difference) were county commissioner and a vote on beer/wine sales in my town. Unfortunately, Governor, Lt Governor, Senator and my US Rep are cinches.

I heard early voting turnout was over 25%, and they're expecting 75% turnout for my town. Nothing gets people out at 7am like beer and wine.

First time voting in the state of Texas, and the first time since 2000, when I voted in New Mexico.

As the fellow Texas W's here say, the big races that are up in Texas are pretty much nonraces, and my US Rep is running unopposed.

Number #158 on one machine, but they were using a dual setup.

I voted this morning and had a grand ol' time. This was the first election I've been in Connecticut for, and I was pleased to see the old fashioned "click, click, ka-chink!" voting booths instead of the boring (and rather shady) electronic ones they had in Florida. Not only did I get an "I voted today" sticker for my trouble, but I also got a bonus Jack Chick comic from the Conservative Christian party on my way out. Hilarious!

Was one of the early ones at a little after 7 this morning. I was surprised to discover we didn't have a new electronic voting system in place at my precinct, because they'd been talking about it on the local news. Just the old "fill in the oval on the ballot and drop it in this thing that looks like a shredder".

No free stickers either.

Just got back from voting. It wasn't too bad in TN when I was at the precinct. There was a line of about 15 when I got there and about 15 after I left. My guess is it'll be a pretty good turnout for the region and the state - it can't hurt that it was a pretty hotly-contested Senate race up until the last couple of weeks.

Also just got back. I was #322 in our ward. Our polling place was inside a church, oddly (or maybe not) enough. I peppered my votes among 4 different political parties, plus got to vote on referendums about gay marriage and capital punishment.

I voted for the first time today. Well...for the first time since my third grade class nearly-unanimously decided to give Bill Clinton a second term over Bob Dole, at least.

Anyway...Christy Mihos for governor, John Olver for Congress, Teddy "I was running?" Kennedy for Senate, Yes on 1 and 2, No on 3, and I think I voted Jonathan Papelbon for Register of Deeds.

Barely, as for some reason, my updated voter registration never got filed. And I didn't know where I was voting until 2pm today.

And my voting precinct was in the most inconspicuous place ever.

I did vote on provisional ballot, though. Hey, at least it's something...

Nah. You just vote for people who don't represent your values. You'll be happy to know that almost every person I voted for has lost (at least According to CNN)

And, a Libertarian got 12% in the Senate Race in Indiana!!! (oh, yeah, the Democrats didn't even run a candidate)

BTW, the OTHER guy got 88%

Yeah, I voted - 6:45AM, 40th in my Precinct

Schlesinger, the Republican in Vermont, got 10%.

Best news of the day! Just kidding AWA...

I voted in the morning. Turnout seemed about normal, a bit higher maybe than usual as we had a couple of hot local races, but living under the rule of Pharoah Daley II there's never a whole lot of action in Chicago voting. Though watching one of the candidate marching through the streets at 1AM from his hotel to the Board of Elections building with 75-100 followers was great tv :)

Despite my attempts to be removed from the rolls in various places, I believe had I been determined and felonious enough I could have voted 6 different times yesterday.

Welcome to Chicago~!
