that truly means something to you.

could be sadness, could be happiness, could be anger, etc. one song that some famous person whom you don't know wrote and it makes you react.

for me, the sad one is U.N.K.L.E "rabbit in your headlights" just for the opening few verses... "gigantic" by the Pixies for that excitement feeling, "i did it my way" by Jay-Z to make me feel like a king amongst men, and "Unbelievable" by Biggie as a great song to play at night while driving along well lit main roads so the various lights shine down upon your car.

also now that i think of it the nirvana cover of the Leadbelly song "They Hung Him on a Cross" from their boxset always makes me remember my grandmothers death, since the release of the set and her passing were days apart.

so what songs do you all have feelings/remembrances for?

"Bat out of Hell" by Meat Loaf is a mixed back of memories, most good.

I attened a fairly intense summer program for the academically gifted. There I met a girl I was fairly passionate about and our acting preceptor would act out to great fan fare this song. So, the dancing of the preceptor(who is now like a brother to me) sticks and the memory of my passionate relationship to that girl and the fact it didn't last. Bat out of Hell is also a song that the unrequited love of my teenage youth and I head bang to the most in my car.

Jimmy Buffet songs (Cheeseburgers in paradise) make me feel safe since my folks would quit fighting on Friday nights when they started playing Jimmy Buffet.

CALLING YOU - Blue October. The line "You take away the old and show me the new; I feel like I can fly when I stand next to you" describes the way I feel about my girlfriend perfectly.

They Might be Giants "We Want a Rock" makes me happy because it's absurdity at it's best.

I don't think there are any songs that I take seriously enough to have them mean anything significant.

Ken Kennedy debuted a new finisher: Jeff Hardy fans will insist on calling it the Swanton Bomb, but it looks WAY more devastating when not performed by a 180-pound fruitcake.

Just let me know that no matter how screwed up I am, someone will probably recognize some worth -- and I should be looking for the worth in others.

"The Luckiest" by Ben Folds because it describes my relationship with my wife. Also Ben hits me again with "Still Fighting It." He wrote that song for his son and I have two sons so that song gets me everytime.

Put me down for "The Luckiest" as well. Also, "Landed" by Ben Folds is another of ours.

Right now it's a tossup between Fear Factory's Body Hammer or Zero Signal.

'Wishing (If I Had A Photograph Of You)' by A Flock Of Seagulls (the 5:30 version). It's not based on any moment of my life, but for some reason, it always move me emotionally as though I'm going to have a out-of-body experience when I hear it. Even if listen to it for over a hour straight (which I've done several times) I still get goosebumps to the beat. A close second I think would be Queen's 'Radio Ga-Ga'.

To continue the Ben Folds lovefest, mine is "Selfless, Cold and Composed". I probably listened to it too much after my fiancée broke up with me a couple years ago.

The chorus to "Leave Out All The Rest" by Linkin Park is part of my philosophy of life. Also the intro from "Points Of Authority" is awesome when you want to let your superiority complex flare up.

It used to be "Shimmer" by Fuel, but now that the person that gave it meaning has been out of my life for nearly 8 years, it's become "Don't Want to Stay" by Rock Kills Kid, because the lyrics just fit me perfectly, these days.
