I'm currently working the most I've EVER worked in my life, so thank God I'm hourly. I'm not so sure I could take salary-paying job, because my personality is such that I wouldn't take the easy times and not work as much, I think.

Salary. Luckily for me, I dont have to work late very often and the times I do are usually outweighed by the times I get to go home early.

Salary. If I'm 20 minutes late nobody notices, but I'll make it up later to sooth my own conscience. My boss actually lets me off 45 minutes early to teach a class at the Technical College a couple of days each week as long as I make up the time by coming in early or taking a very short lunch on those days. For me, it's a much more relaxed way to work.

Hourly, and there is a lot of overtime for me to take advantage of. But we don't have punch clocks. At the end of the day everyone stands in one line to sign out.

Recently became salaried when I was promoted. I'm still coming down from the high of receiving a modest benefits package.

Best part is now I can finally stay current on my expenses. As long as I don't buy anything extravagant, like a house or car or PS3 or groceries, I might be out of debt before I die.

Hourly for now, though I can't get overtime, and often work overtime, so it's basically like a salary.

This is me almost to a "T" with the exception that my boss doesn't ask that I come in early or shorten lunch to make up for my early teaching departures.

At the same time, if I need to come in and finish something on a weekend I do so without being prompted and without grumbling so it does even out a little.

I get an hourly rate, but only get paid for 36.25 hours a week. Anything over that goes into accrued time, so I can take a day off if I accrue enough hours. I have plenty of accrued time, but I don't take many days off. If there's organised overtime, like a hardware rollout or something, I get paid overtime for that, but that has to be approved by my boss's boss.

Salaried, and I don't get overtime. Well, I could, but then I'd get written up. -_- The mileage helps a bit.

Self-employed, so that counts as salaried, with the added bonus of never, ever getting to stop thinking about work. Whee!

Hourly. No overtime, though -- not that I'm usually required to stay beyond the standard 8:30 to 4:30, unless there's a history committee meeting, which is about once a quarter.

Hourly, and no overtime usually, but at the end of this month, my Target store will supposedly let us get all the overtime we want until Christmas. And I usually go for all the overtime I can. That's what you do when you make as little money as I do.
