Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you... No threads at all about House yet? Shame on you all!
Anyways, absolutely tremendous episode tonight - if it ain't up there with "Three Stories", it's pretty gosh darned close. Without giving any spoilers away, what I absolutely loved about this one is the emotion it brought out in House and the Ducklings, but no one more so than Cameron, who gets the star treatment for the third straight episode. Seriously, she keeps yo-yoing between turning into Mrs. House or staying her true sympathetic self, and this was a night when the latter got the best of her. (The final quick scene with Cameron & House in the hospital chapel is one to grab the tissue box for.)
Seriously, if you're not watching this show, you're a fool. We're talking about a show and a character so awesome that on-screen jailbait (telefilmzone.it) develops crushes on him out of nowhere! ;)
smark/net attack Advisory System Status is: Elevated (Holds; June 18, 2006) While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.
Was able to enjoy 2 hours of House tonight, since I didn't get around to watchin last weeks episode. Ending really caught me by surprise, best show on TV as far as I'm concerned.
I can't believe any of his staff actually thought he'd kill the guy. How many stunts has he pulled before that they've been against, but either (a) it turned out for the better or (b) wasn't what they expected he was doing. I mean, I think everyone and their mother knew he wasn't going to kill the guy.
Don't take my previous rant the wrong way- House is one of my fav shows on TV. Just a little thing I wanted to put out there.
I thought when House went to kill him, that he would actually cure him, and it would drive House nut's having cured the guy but not knowing what he cured.
Joel Gray is always welcome on my TV, and it's eerie how much he looks and sounds like an older Jeffrey Combs.
I thought Cameron's decision at the end was arbitrary and rushed. If anyone would have done the deed, it should have been Chase. He had a shorter logical distance to move to make that call. The two male doctors admitted their previous mentors had euthanized patients, and House said he had too. I was impressed with how much time House gave Cameron before telling her to do her job.
I hope the Cuddy pregnancy jokes last all season.

I really like this show and I am a huge fan of Hugh Laurie, but the running joke we have in our office goes like this:
You watching House tonight?
Yes.
I heard it is a good one.
What's it about?
Someone comes in with a wierd diesease, the whole hsopital is stumped, House barks at a lot of people, the assitants make all the wrong diagnosis, House wonders off, somethign catches his eye and he associates that with a rare disease and he cures the patient.
It is the same show each week and I am concerned that eventually this will drain me much like CSI and ER did. I would love it if just for one episode, they focused on his clinic work which I always think is the best part of the entire show.
...that motherfucker is always spiked with pain.....
Well the thing is, House is always good within the formula, but when it breaks the formula it's the best damn thing on TV. Three Stories, last season's finale, and the episode with the baby epidemic. Those standouts keep the show from getting overly repetitive.
This episode lacked the top notch verbal sparring from the first two of this season, but made up for it in the little character developments we saw. Cuddy getting off of House's back for once, Chase being the only one to stay with house, Cameron having to be the one to euthanize the guy, etc.
