Lost Jericho (Although we probably will watch that one as it plays) NCIS The Unit Grey's Anatomy Without a Trace (Although we probably will watch that one as it plays)
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.
All the new shows are gonna be on a trial basis, obviously. And we'll be waiting a while longer for #s 4 and 7. But still...
1. Lost 2. The Office 3. My Name Is Earl 4. 24 5. Heroes 6. Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip 7. Scrubs 8. Real Time with Bill Maher 9. Jericho 10. ECW on Sci-Fi
(edited by OlFuzzyBastard on 5.9.06 2136) "That's my problem - I'm too frank. That's why my mother shoved me down the stairs. But then she is fat."
These shows will constitute the majority of my taping this season:
WRESTLING: WWE Raw and Smackdown; TNA iMPACT (if I like the spoilers) and ECW on Global.
SPORTS: Any major curling tournament (the Briar, the Scott tournament, and the Worlds), and Hockey Night In Canada. I'm a transplanted Leafs fan, so I don't get to see them as often as I could if I lived in Ontario...so any Leafs game I can get on my cable service is very much on my list.
COMEDY: The Office, Mad TV, and MXC, which I'm still very much addicted to.
DRAMA: Doc (reruns on Showcase here), CSI (the original series), and Standoff.
FOR THE GIRLFRIEND: 7th Heaven, Rachael Ray.
TECH STUFF: Dotto Tech (he's a dork, but it's a good show), Electric Playground, Reviews On The Run, and X-Play (should I decide to get G4TechTV on digital cable. Jury's still out on that one)
That's pretty much it. Lord knows I'll probably forget half the shows I record, much like half the fantasy leagues I subscribe to...but I put in a valiant effort for the first while before going down in a blaze of glory.
Is there a pool to predict what shows get cancelled first?

*=New shows getting a trial run. If it doesn’t have an asterisk, I’m fairly certain I’m gonna dig it. **=Lost gets ONE EPISODE to prove it’s not going to be stupid and lame this season. ***=I’m only going to start watching Earl if I get the DVDs and catch up on the first season. I’ve caught an episode here and there and I’ve LOVED it so far.
I think my TiVo died last night, at about the worst possible time.
They want to deliver vast amounts of information over the internet. And again, the internet is not something you just dump something on. It's not a truck.
I'm choosy about what gets an actual season pass these days. Right now the only things I have set to auto-record are: ECW Family Guy American Dad Drawn Together World Series of Poker
I'm giving chances on an ep-by-ep basis to: Til Death Jericho
I find that really the WWE 24/7 service sucks up a lot of my available tv watching time these days.
Raw Smackdown ECW CSI CSI: Miami Mythbusters Good Eats Lost My Name is Earl Simpsons Family Guy American Dad Late Night with Conan O'Brien Daily Show
My wife also has various knitting shows on their as well as a wishlist thing for Tom Baker. In addition to that, it seems to record a lot of various Law & Order. Also, much to my amusement, it records the Godfather every time it comes on.

It did, HD failure. Only a year old. It's either buy a new HD, buy a new box, or call TiVo, and see if they'll take pity on me. This is the second Tivo that I've purchased inside of eighteen months that has crapped out on me.

We're about three weeks out...time to bring this one back again. I just typed this all out for my LJ, so why not post it here?
MONDAY 8:00 - "Chuck" (NBC) 8:00 - "How I Met Your Mother" (CBS) 9:00 - "Heroes" (NBC) 10:00 - "Journeyman" (NBC)
TUESDAY 8:00 - "Bones" (FOX) 9:00 - "House" (FOX) 9:00 - "Reaper" (CW) I'll be recording the first couple, but I'm wary. 10:00 - "Cane" (CBS) Just gonna check out the pilot.
WEDNESDAY 8:00 - "Pushing Daisies" (ABC) 9:00 - "Bionic Woman" (NBC) The pilot was pretty damn good. 10:00 - "Life" (NBC)
THURSDAY 8:00 - "Smallville" (CW) 9:00 - "The Office" (NBC) 9:00 - "Supernatural" (CW) 9:00 - "CSI" (CBS) This one is the odd man out on the DVR. I'm going to have to torrent it to continue watching it. I'm close to dropping it, actually, but it's an old standby.
FRIDAY and SATURDAY Nothing! Nada! Zip! Wala!
SUNDAY 8:00 - "Viva Laughlin!" (CBS) Again, just checking out the pilot. It looks awful. The original British series ("Blackpool!") is awesome, though. 9:00 - "Family Guy" (FOX) 9:00 - "Desperate Housewives" (ABC) I'm not at all interested, but my wife wants to check it out for Nathan Fillion.
DROPPED "Lost" (I feel five pounds lighter!)
These are just the shows that have fall premiere dates. I will of course be watching "Heroes: Origins", "24" (PLEASE DON'T SUCK AGAIN KTHXBYE!), "Battlestar Galactica", and "Jericho" whenever the hell they start up.

CRZ had to edit my profile and close my table for me before, but I did this one all by myself with Frosty's help!
I'm just a big kid at heart and would choose the Orlando Florida area with all the Disney attractions, Universal Studios, Sea World, Cocoa and Daytona Beach, NASA Space Center, etc etc.
