I subscribed to this last night. I cancelled my Skinemax and Showtime subscriptions and went with this. What does that say about me?
The ECW shows have Taz/zz intros. He rambles about a buncha' stuff, using Tazz-ism like "lemme tell ya'" and "they're more tougher than anyone other out there".
Oh, BONUS for anyone not subscribing: Comcast's OnDemand menu has a section titled "Premium Sampler". Hit that and you can watch four matches from the Maple Leaf Gardens show for free. Rene Goulet vs. Nick DeCarlo, SD Jones vs. Valentine, Volkov vs. Rocky Johnson, plus The-Not-Ready-to- be- called Bulldogs vs. Goldie Rogers & Buddy Bass. The Maple Leaf show's already disappeared, so I think the freebie is the only way to view it, now. You can find abbreviated Nitro and RAW episodes on the sampler, as well.
Oh yes...there's also a 45 minute Nikolai Volkov documentary. I'd say pop culture has reached new levels of excess, when someone makes a Nikolai Volkov Documentary. And I pay for it.
I subscribed to 24/7 for about eight months, and only got rid of it in July for budget reasons. But it's definitely worthwhile if you can afford it. Each week, there's usually at least a couple of shows that grab your attention, no matter where your wrestling interests lie. My only complaint is that they rarely seemed to have WCW pay-per-views, at least while I had a subscription.

Nikolai is a great guy, and deserves any attention he gets. Lise was working with him a couple of years back on an idea for a comic book (I think we can talk about this now since it is extremely DOA) and he was very personable.
I'm sad the project didn't pan out (through no fault of ours or his - it was a third party issue) but it is probably for the best.

Compared to the new forty dollar standard for PPVs now I don't know how anyone can not afford it. I just got it so I may be wrong but the Monday night wars and PPVs seem to be running from exactly 10 years ago. So it's basically late 96 footage in full swing with more on the way. If you know that period you can't beat 8 bucks to see it again.
They are promoting the Territories next month which will be worth it for Piper Mid-Atlantic alone.
Oh my god that does sound awesome, I really and leaning towards ordering this. They have a couple of ECW shows from 1995, including a "Barbed Wire ECW Title Match with Sandman battling Cactus Jack" from June 1995.
They have an AWA show from Jan. 1982, a 1991 MSG show pitting Hogan against Flair, Starcadee '85 (which I've already seen the top two matches from)...
Cactus Jack vs. Chris Candido from SMW, which I remember for the promos Foley transcribed in his (first?) book.
Rick Rude vs. Kerry Von Erich from World Class in 1986.
A Dingo Warrior match from 1987 against Barry Horowitz.
Hogan's MSG debut against Ted Dibiase in 1979.
Oh man, the RAW where fake Diesel and fake Razor Ramon debut.
I guess I could have just listed the whole damn Web site...
I really want to get this. I think I'm going to.

So I bit the bullet and subscribed. There was a large portion of time where I did not watch WWF programming (from roughly '93 to mid-'99), so it's very interesting to see stuff from that period. But yeah, so far so good.
How's it work exactly? Do you get the month of programming and do you get to choose which parts you want to watch whenever you want, or do you have to watch it based on their schedule?

It's through Comcast's "OnDemand" feature, so you can pick and choose what you want to watch, when you want to watch it.
You can also FF, pause, stop and rewind each show. Comcast saves your show for a limited time. Usually 24 hours. So you can watch two matches, take a leak, cut the grass, make a ceramic duck, then come back and pick up right where you left off.
I held off on buying the Dusty dvd, because I knew that it would be on 24/7 eventually. Sure enough, there it was yesterday. All of the matches I had already, I just wanted to watch the documentary part. It was very interesting, especially to hear Dusty talking in his normal, "real" voice. I don't think I have ever heard it before. Weird. Plus Starrcade '85 is available this month, I have been looking for a good copy of that forever, now I have a perfect one. Anal viewers beware, this stuff is great, as long as you don't mind a 24/7 symbol in the corner of the picture.
Dean! Have you been shooting dope into your scrotum? You can tell me! I'm hip!
a highlight for me next month is one of the house show matches between Hogan and Flair in 1991. I have never seen one of those matches, so that should be cool. I think it is in the Garden.
